A goodwill gesture from the manager, allowing us to alter our booking date. Nice room. Good location.

Bad mannered male receptionist made us feel very unwelcome.

Staff were friendly and very helpful/ Nice location for business or family events. Easy access if driving. The unexpected snow in April just added to the natural beauty of the area.

When I arrived at the hotel, staff did not have a reservation for me, took almost 10mins then to get checked in. Then, when I had given them all my information (again), they could not process my debit card due to a fault "which has been happening alot lately". Later, I went out to dinner, upon my return at 11pm, I could not get back into the hotel parking area. The call button was not answered, then when calling the hotel number, it was not answered. Eventually it went to voice mail and I was advised to call the night porters mobile number...in the next 15mins, I called both of these numbers a total of 9 times. When I finally got in at 11:20 and found the nught porter, he said he had not heard the phone and simply offered 'sorry about that'. Very furstrating and dissappointing...I have stayed here previously, but I will not be back again..!!

The room was clean and i really enjoyed the meal we had at the night.

The fact that I sat waiting for service in the restaurant for my breakfast... Eventually I gave up.

Limited Menu in Restaurant with hefty prices on most dishes, Slow Internet, Lousy Coffee

Although the Hotel was not very busy the staff as always where very helpfull, once again breakfast was very good made to order by the chef on duty.

Could not get a cup of coffeee as bar did not open until 5.00p.m. Was told if I really wanted a coffee I should use facilities in room

Full cooked English breakfast, presented in buffet style, eat all you can eat, fantastic, well cooked! Unrushed and kept very hot. Staff were fantastic, passed messages well between shifts to make sure they catered for us, brilliant attention to detail! The bathroom was absolutely spotless, so much so that my OH even commented on the presentation and cleanliness. The ensuite room was huge

Not really a problem, but a sticker or something to point out the on switch for the flat screen tv!

I have to say that I did no tfind anythin gwhich I did not particulalry like.

Having stayed previously the rooms and position were as before, atmosphere ok, accomdation, rooms nice and clean;.

There was no Bar facilities at the week-end and we were not made aware before we booked.

Excellent food at dinner and good value and reasonable wine choice. Breakfast was average and DIY Staff were all very friendly and helpful
