Staff were friendly and helpful TV didn't work. Shower was more like a drizzle and went cold if anyone in a ten mile radius turned on a tap.

The refurbished part. They have kept the character of the building an the rooms are nice. The manager showed me a room. It was personal and friendly. Although my bedroom was small it was cosy and the bed was comfortable. Also there was a blind and curtains which blocked out all the light, which I love! The garden was very nice, a little haven in the middle of the town. I would prefer to have a breakfast room; they have made it into more bedrooms. I advised Booking.com that I would be arriving late but the hotel hadn't received the notification; fortunately he had just gone out for 10 mins and came back to find us knocking on the door. (He rcd notification the next morning!

The bedroom itself was clean, The Manager friendly and accommodating regarding refilling my tea and sugar requirements. Car parking was easy and the internet signal was included in the price and strong. The water constantly running from the toilet in my bathroom. Being right next to the front door so I heard every conversation as people came in and out also my room was regularly filled with the obnoxious smell of cigarette smoke as people stood by the front door to smoke.

It was close to buses. Facilities were too small. Could hardly fit into the shower and did not even have a kettle in the room even though it was supposed to come with it. Had the smell of cigarette right from the reception. They did not change sheets for 4 days until I had to take it off the bed.

The owner was very friendly ; he helped us out with everything, from calling táxi's, borrowing umbrella's, buying sewing-kit, giving suggestions about breakfast spots etc.. He was a very good host, we had a wonderful time. It is a guesthouse, not a real hotel! The shower in number 12 was either too hot or too cold, and very little water. Maybe for handicaped people??Numer 10 didn't have windows.

The fact that the hotel was very very close to where we were going, we read all the reviews on this place ,but booked as we only stayed for one night,, theres ample parking out front,,whomever put there wasnt obviously worked for another hotel chain,, rooms were small but well thought out ..very clean and easy to find. The room was on the small side so if your planning on spending a lot of time in it ask for a larger room..however if like us your just using it as a base to go out then its fine.

Convient for meeting our friends and nice pub/snack bar nearby. Room was near to the front door so easy to pack and unpack the car! Caster had broken off the bed and so it was propped up on bits of wood. Shower was either too hot or too cold, with very little water. No lounge to meet our friends. The bedroom was very small for a "double". Did not feel it was good value for money. Not enough "hanging up" provision for a couple! Have to say that we were offered a choice of rooms when we arrived, but unfortunately we were tired and the ground floor bedroom we were shown first was so convient to the door as we had a lot of things to bring in, so we didn't bother to look at the other rooms on offer, so to be fair, it was partly our fault that we did not check out the other rooms.

The main reason for choosing Oak Lodge was its closeness to family that we were visiting and the price. However it exceeded our expectations. Although our room was at the rear of the building - looking out over the nice rear garden, we were surprised how quiet it was. Our en-suite room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The staff member we spoke to was very polite, friendly and helpful. We will certainly be staying there again.

Close proximity to our family. Very small room - although we were told it was the "best room". Difficult to find room for luggage - we were travelling. Noisy water system - toilet and taps. Uncarpeted floor - felt rather gritty. No wifi connection although we were told there was.

Erica was very friendly and helpful. Hotel Close to m25. Our room was small but had a lovely view of the garden, french doors leading off the bedroom. Good for us because we smoke and there was a table and chairs outside in the garden. Room very clean. We choose the room because of the access to the garden but there was no mirror in the bathroom and my husband was unable to shave and sink very tiny also shower small and a bit of a squeeze, but these are just small inconviences. The directions to the hotel could be improved not everyone has a satnav.

A nice area of Enfield and only a 10 or 15 minute walk to the town centre. We paid £49 but were told the regular fee should normally be £75. Thats the problem, the room was compact with the smallest "double" bed I have ever seen. The bathroom hadn't been finshed properly and looked grubby. This would have been fine for £30 and advertised as a budget hotel. I would have been very upset had I paid the full £75 and not that happy with £49. Breakfast is not included in this price and parking is very restricted. Free WiFi is a bonus, but it is quite slow. I really could not recommend this hotel.
