    A dreadful experience.

A dreadful experience. I sent an email to the General Manager on 17/7 and as I haven't even had an acknowledgment from him, I now intend making the problems public. To start - The room was a superior one - without a chair to sit on either at the desk space or the dressing table. Followed by the dining experience - the tables were very sticky (so much so that a birthday card, in an envelope, had to be prised off the table). There were supposed to be three menu options - Groupon, Table D'Hote or A La Carte - only the former was available due to 'a new chef who can only cope with one menu' There was no Wainwrights, no Sauvgnon Blanc, no Merlot Receptionist apologised when we checked out but made no effort, at that time, to make contact with someone in authority.

    Totally ignored by restaurant staff.

Totally ignored by restaurant staff. Had to visit kitchens twice to try and get their assistance. Still no one came out to serve me. Had to eat out in the end. Problem with drains in bathroom. Couldn’t shower due to sewerage smell. Came back after they’d agreed to try and move me or fix the problem. Came back after eating out to find reception closed. Went back to the room to find naked man in the room. Member of staff had decided to use it. Don’t know who was shocked more. Eventually found receptionist elsewhere in the hotel who moved to me to another room some three hours after checking in. 23.00hrs Faulty Towers eat your heart out Room 213 then 103
