Will not stay here even for free.
Bedroom had no bulb. Owner did not care to check. Almost slept in darkness. Owner's dog wandering around communal areas harassing.
that I had to share toilet and washing, There was no mirror in bedroom, the light switch was by the door and there was'nt a bedside lamp
I didn't like anything about the place.
i had a nice room owner very nice help full what i need to know

Facilities were poor and shared, not up to expected even for the low price.
Made welcome ,very friendly and English breakfast available if required ,visiting sick relative so flexibility important ,left with own front door key to come and go .

Atmosphere and value for money
They stayed up late for the lads traveling from Yorkshire.I Booked at very very short notice yet the owner was still polite and friendly. 10/10
Was met by the owner who was very friendly and welcoming. Pleasant room with fast wifi and exceptionally comfortable bed. I opted for the full English breakfast which was offered at a time to suit and one of the best I've had. All in all a lovely place in a great location at a very good price, will visit again.
Was close to amenities also for our personal need s was a short distance from relatives whom we were visiting
No hangers in wardrobes No mirror in bedroom meaning had to do hair and makeup in hall way as bathroom mirror was too small on the one occasion I did have some milk from the continental items provided Ifound it was dried milk . The owners had a pet dog which I would like to state was a beautiful and friendly dog but..... Unfortunately on a mornin if someone came to the bungalow the dog would bark outside the bedroom door( aware and understand that dogs do bark ) obviously if you have had a late night or would like a lay in on your holidays then this could disturb you sleep
Small room Lack of on suit Sharing bathroom
A bit off the beaten track. Landlady was very helpful and nice. A pleasant place to lay our head and chill.
The Yew Tree Inn around the corner was definitely the highlight. That and leaving early! Wifi worked.
Shared bathroom had poo on the floor by the loo. Dog often loose. Breakfast was 4 plastic boxes of cereal, UHT milk and a bowl of milk rolls which were in the hall as you arrived - this was to be collected by guests and eaten in their rooms. Tiny rooms. Much disturbance throughout the night - angry son arrived home late cursing about the B and B meaning that his mother had locked the doors. Money taken in advance. I could go on but won't...
NO-ONE there on arrival. We found some-one in a caravan who phoned the landlady & asked if she could let us in the house. The house appeared deserted. Eventually the landlady (?) popped her head round the door & we ordered "continental breakfast, cereals, croissants & tea or coffee" No-one around next morning, we found the cereal & provision for drinks, no croissants, on a tray in the hall. No table, & 1 chair in the bedroom. No cups, we used the cups from the previous nights instant coffees. There was nowhere to part on arrival, although it had said "parking available, no need to book". No choice but to stop on the double yellow line in the rain & wait for someone to leave. No towels at all were provided.
-Door answered (after much ringing) by teenager in a dressing gown who had no knowldge of guest arrivals. - Breakfast was very basic help youself and had to be eaten in room. - No bedside lamps
Close to Goodwood
- One bathroom shared between 5 rooms. Very long waits. - Ran out of toilet paper and there was no-one around to restock / couldn't find spares! - Very, very expensive for what it is, taking advantage of people who want to book for the Goodwood festivals. - Literally just someones house that they rent out the rooms. We think the person looking after it was staying in the caravan out the front, but couldn't be sure. - Requested a VAT invoice, but had nothing sent through. - No parking spaces. - Breakfast was a couple of mini boxes of cereal and UHT milk. - Dog was growling at all new people who walked in. - We actually ended up leaving early due to being so unhappy with the situation.
The Azalea's owner Sandy who was most efficient and extremely pleasant to us, as guests for the week-end. The bedroom space was adequate and the accommodation clean and tidy.
Bathroom facilities could be improved.
Sandy the owner was very helpful finding us alternative accommodation that we otherwise wouldn't have known about.
The fact that we were double booked, and a great deal of the first prices don't seem to match with the end price for a particular time of year for several different establishments listed.
The owner was absent. Outside my room was a caravan with an electric lead running to it through an open window. The room was not clean, sharing a dingy bathroom with another guest was not acceptable at this price. There was nowhere to hang any clothes, the cupboard was full of someone else's clothes and various car parts. Should not be included in your system.
We definitely had the feeling that we were being shoehorned into a temporary B and B! The room that we had was obviously the room of one of the family members that had been asked to leave for the night. The wardrobe was full of their clothes and everything else had been stuffed into a corner. Even the posters off the walls were on top of the wardrobe. The bathroom was being used by at least eight people and there was a constant queue and NO toilet roll! The continental breakfast was a small packet of cereal and UHT milk and one very small croissant. All in all I don't feel it was £95's worth.
Bed was comfortable
Price changed on our arrival. Site stated full breakfast. ... only cereal and brioche available. Coffee sachets were all dry. Wc facilities were shared and outside of the room. The room was small and two people couldn't pass to get out of the door because the bed was in the way.
On arrival I was met by the owners son who was very pleasant and knowledgable about the surrounding area. All the staff were very polite and professional. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The owners dog is very friendly and cute. An all round pleasant stay and would recommend this place to anyone. A good location for exploring the South Coast.
The owner was pleasant and accommodating. Guests sat on one table which initially was a surprise but allowed us to talk and socialise which we enjoyed.
There was no sign on the outside the property to let you know it was a b&b. We had to share a shower room with at least one other room if not three and couldn't access it for a while as another guest was in there for upwards of three quarters of an hour! A cooked breakfast was not included and was additional to cost (at a reasonable £4 but should be included in price).
All area has wifi & good connection
No private bathroom & toilet
zalea has a wonderful location being in a rural part of Hayling Island yet still close to the sea. Quiet, clean, comfortable with an excellent cooked breakfast sourced from local produce. Great value with a friendly owner, definitely a place to return too.
There was nothing to dislike.
