The room was very nice, the bathroom was much bigger & nicer than expected. It was also nice to wander around the grounds after breakfast just a small thing. The heated towel rail & mirror, made the bathroom a bit too hot(but we were there during a mini heatwave). |

Breakfast was good and the staff were friendly & helpful. The bedroom had a tired feel about it. Furniture was old and not very comfortable. Only the bathroom, which I think had recently been re-done, was OK. |

The meal I had was good if a little overpriced, however the menu selection was very limited The receptionist who checked me in did not have a very welcoming personality, the receptionist is the face of your hotel and first impressions are important, got a bad first impression !! |

The helpfulness an general demeanor of the staff. They acted promptly and considerately on a problem with the bed. The corridors were very warm and on the first night the room also. We needed to use the fan and keep the window open all night. Obviously this is a personal preference but my wife found the bed too firm. You do not need to be told the drive needs attention and specifically passing places, but I'll say it again anyway. |

only stayed 2 nights but after reading some reviews was a bit apprehensive at first .the building looks abit like the haunted house but inside is tasteful and relaxing. rooms are comfortable and clean and the staff good.aside from the driveway and carpark which are in poor state my stay was good and i would use it again |

the breakfast was the best I had had in a long time it was warm and the man delievering was a delight The evening staff on the desk was a young woman and was very impatient talked too fast and I felt I was being a nusiance . the porter however could see I was very tired and too my bags for me . . . The morning staff member was a lovely foreign member very nice girl on departure... |

It was a lovely hotel and the grounds were beautiful but the road and the approach to the hotel was terrible. The road and the car park left a lot to be desired. |

Beautiful place; really great food, nice rooms; comfortable; who really cares about the drive way anyhow!!! enternet connection was lousy wireless with no speed; no fitness room; would have been good to be able to work out some; water pressure could have been better in shower |

Nice environment, friendly and helpful staff. Restaurant on site with good reasonably proced food. Room was clean and quiet. The bed was not as comfy as I would have liked and the pillows were rock solid. |
