I thought that the location was excellent, right in the hart of town surronded by shops ,places to eat, with very good amienaties all within walking distances We only booked this guest house after reading the review on Booking.com.This said it was a highly rated 8.8 if my memorary serves me right.Though how disappointed we were, although the rooms were a decent size they were bitter cold the radiators had been switched off which I feel for this time of the year (december) is not exceptable. Also later that evening we were going out so we began to get ready and to our shock found there was no toiletries at all.I Work away from home and spend every week of the year in a different B+B/Guest House and I feel that it was not a fair rating and have stopped in better for a lot less.

This Hotel Is a comfatable no nonsense hotel. It is situated in a part of the town away from the high street but in easy reach of all aminities including walks along the river and parks for childrens enjoyment. The Owner runs it as a family busines and nothing is to much trouble. In fact she is quite a character and loves to chat and laugh but not overpowering. There is plenty of parking off road. The building is in need of repair but it still remains a nice place to stay. I have stayed in all typs of hotels all over the world this one is a place for relaxation as a base for sleeping and a fantastic breakfast. I like it and the owner. And would stay again
