Location Staff friendly and knowledge food good will stay again but for longer than one night
Excellent venue for a small wedding anniversary celebration. Stayed two nights, very impressed with the staff, very cheerful, and mostly English! Good facilities and excellent health centre.
Bed mattress was poor and gave me backache.Thought the food was indifferent, breakfast excellent but the dinner offering was disappointing.
Wow what a great break. Hotel was sooooo nice. Glass of champane on arrival, free up grade and 6 roaring fires on the go. Staff very helpful . If u have not been u must x
Nothing all very good
Welcome was excellent, helpful desk staff, cheerful Christmas decorations, bike hire and maps, bar and lounge areas are comfortable, if not reserved. Once we finally got breakfast it tasted good. Afternoon teas were also tasty and the staff were attentive.
Unfortunately we were made to stand and wait for over 15 minutes for a table at breakfast with no apology, being snapped at when we asked if table was ready, then finding there were no glasses, fruit juices, eggs, beans, hash browns, tomatoes, tomato sauce when we finally had a table.
view from bedroom window, and room was lovely bed excellent.
had to ask for bathrobes as were none in the room , phone didnt work properley.
fantastic location. staff was very good and very helpful. room was good. fantastic breakfast.
room was very stuffy could not get any fresh air in the room, could not open windows, air con did not seem to work. had to pay extra for using the tv, never known that before.
Service was good
A little further out of Windsor centre than I thought. Room was old and dated. Only basic amenities in the room. Waited 30 mins for a taxi pickup which the hotel organised!
The overall appearance Staff attentiveness Excellent restaurant with taster menu Restaurant staff outstanding
Wifi in the room poor
The staff all were very pleasant and extremely helpful, they were all first class every time! The castle and grounds are stunningly beautiful, the facilities first class, the food was excellent and the prices for the food weren't anymore than a local restaurant. I just can't say enough good things about this place! Just brilliant!
We only stayed one night but wish it could have been longer. The dinner was exceptional - one of the best meals we have had for a long time. The staff are so helpful and good facilities such as wellies and bikes for walking around the beautiful grounds. Will definitely return.
We had a lovely, comfortable room in the old house but the wifi signal was very poor so I had to stand on the landing to get good access.
This was a night away for my mum's 65th birthday & the guest relations dept made her feel special with a little birthday package on arrival. Cava on arrival, very friendly & knowledgeable staff, super location, cosy interior (despite the size of the hotel), delicious breakfast & nice pool made this short stay extremely memorable. Thank you!!
That we could only stay one night!
Gorgeous: the place, location, champagne, sculptures, river, little lights in trees at night, the food, the afternoon teas. Fabulous architecture. The staff were a treat. The dining 'experience' was really wonderful. Thank you.
sculpture would not fit into luggage - only kidding.
There was a wedding in while we were there and the wedding took over the hotel all areas and there was no where to sit And relax
For the price we paid I expect perfect. There were handles missing on drawers and paintwork just tired
Location, staff the new room was well designed (Except for poor lighting) very comfortable. Excellent breakfast. We had stayed earlier in the year and had looked forward to our return.
The restaurant has changed for the worst. 1st visit an absolute delight, this time choice of only 2 starters, 3 main and 1 pudding or cheese and biscuits. Food served cold and a total disaster. Fortunately Niall the manager understood and acted accordingly assuring me things would be changing.
Staying in an executive room in the main house was perfect to enjoy the numerous lounges, pool and wonderful grounds. Perfectly set on the Thames it was quiet and relaxing and we are already planning to return with some friends.
Being really picky the lighting in the bathroom could be better. The meal we had in the restaurant was art on a plate and there would need to be more choice if I was to eat there again. However the food and service were excellent.
A former film set for 70s schlock horror films, the genuine Victorian gothic and gargoyletastic exterior gives no hint of the incredibly warm and friendly welcome you discover once you're inside. From the champagne thrust into our hands upon arrival to the 'can't do enough to make you feel at home' approach from staff, we loved it all basically.
Nothing really. We really wanted to stay in the main building rather than the nearby annex, but I suspect no one actually gets to do this, except maybe the bats. Brilliant find.
Liked everything about it! Only problem was that we were only able to stay for 1 night so we weren't able to maximise the facilities they had!
Restaurant was expensive and they never gave the option of an a la carte menu-only options were 3 course or tasting menu. We weren't that hungry so had to splash out a lot for dinner when a starter would've been enough!
Room was spacious - lots of privacy , not packed , very clean , accommodating staff , beautiful venue
The choice of cinema was not good -£20 was too much considering there was not much we liked . I have the feedback at reception . Quite pricy too
The quietest hotel we've stayed at. Surprising really, given its location. Beautiful position on the Thames and lovely gardens.
Parking is quite a distance from your accommodation. The walk from your car to the hotel is poorly lit. The parking bays located near to the hotel are too small. But hey! It's free!!
the youg staff were so helpful, polite ,professional & went out of their way to make us feel welcome
Free upgrade to junior suite, restaurant food was excellent
The first room that we were shown smelt of damp
Beautiful view of the river from the hotel bedroom and all staff were friendly, welcoming and courteous.
