The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel building was beautifully gothic. As a vegetarian, I felt the menu was limited. |

The setting was stunning, the building beautiful and the staff excellent along with the facilities they offer it was an ideal, luxury place to stay. Bar prices were on the epensive side but on saying that you wouldn't expect to get cheaper drinks at a luxury hotel. It would have been nice to be able not to think about the cost of the bar bill!! |

The scenery was wonderful. My evening meal was not acceptable although i must say that staff were very apologetic and no price was made for this. |

The staff were very attentive and genuinely wanted to help. The sommelier in the restaurant was fantastic, a real gem. Very reasonably priced winelist. Food was excellant. Had a ground floor bedroom which gave no privacy. Paid for an executive room which was sold as a room with a view. Had a view of the carpark! |

Easy, relaxed pace. Good food, friendly service. Room was a good size and the air conditioning was set and on before arrival. Wonderful grounds and very relaxing sitting outside and watching the world go by, Storage of bicycles was a bit haphazard. Most hotels I stay in will arrange for the bicycles to be locked away in an external building |

We found all the staff very efficient and helpful. They all were friendly and smiling without being familiar .Good training ! Afternoon Teas unneccessarily complicated and expensive. How about tea and bisciuts or tea and sandwiches without the frills1 |

The river - the setting of the hotel was stunning, and sitting by the river in the sunshine was fantastic. The windows in my room were filthy and didn't open properly. The thermostat on the shower was brooken, so I could only get tepid water out of it, and what water there was stopped altogether three times during the course of one shower. If I'd paid full rate for the room I'd have been extremely disappointed at the standard. The rest of the hotel was lovely though. |

The perfect surroundings of the grounds and the beauty of the hotel its self Yes... our room was by the inlet for the air conditioning into the building , which kept me awake all night. The adjoining wall to the equipment vibrated. The staff did not believe me ! ! annoying buut i didnt take it further as it was my friends wedding and I didnt want to spoil the atmosphere |
