The location was amazing, right on the river with Windsor easily accessible and good service into London. Very convenient to Heathrow. Loved the ambiance of the place = food was very good too

The Thames river running at the bottom of the hotel was great for the little one feeding the ducks. Great surrounding gardens.

Our booking was room only and dinner. We didn't have breakfast but automatically added as an extra to our bill!

What a fantastic stay ! Friendliest staff that I ever ever met - so professional - right brought from the porters - reception - waiter and waitresses to cleaning staff ! This hotel came highly recommended and we would highly recommend it to

The setting is fantastic, friendly / helpful staff. Good food & within short drive of Windsor. Quiet location, thoroughly enjoyed our stay & will stay here again highly recommended.

Setting, beautiful grounds, care for the place, staff - nice young staff present too (all ages is great of course but young boys being well mannered is touching and rarer these days!) The ladies in reception and restaurant were really nice. Lovely gardening touches with words about creatures..Great lounges and feel. Loved the history of Oakly in the book in the room.

No lift... but I was with baby and bags alone so tricky for me but I appreciate a nice classic hotel can't have it all! Gym a little limited but so what?!

The location which was quiet and relaxing.

Not being able to book for dinner. The consearge failed to book a table on our behalf. Unfortunately the twin beds were not really appropriate for a romantic weekend away.

The grounds and touches around the hotel are beautiful. I'm not sure weather it was just the knowledge that I was near 'Royal' Windsor or the fact that we were on the Thames where the occasional rower would float by or that we were surrounded by swans and ducks, but the experience felt suprisingly British! I loved the cascading rooms downstairs with an abundance of places to sit, view or hide yourself away. It's a very romantic place!

While the staff on reception and the concierge (who i spoke to on the phone, Chris) were great, personable and welcoming, I found some of the waiting staff in the morning a tad.. stuffy? I almost felt I was a bit ....common to be there... And even if I was, its not so nice to feel it. This was from an older woman who I think was the hostess... It could just have been the early start but it was enough to notice it.. incidentally Please pass on super thanks to Chris though who went above what was expected and made me feel really special. His organised, informative and helpful manner surpassed my expectations before we had even arrived!

after experiencing excellent service and good quality food, the previous afternoon/evening, my wife and I were extremely disappointed by the breakfast room and the food on offer - something you would expect from a hotel with a far lower rating. The staff did their best, but I couldn't help feeling that they were a little overwhelmed. (I informed the hotel about our feelings when checking out)

Large, comfortable bed. Lovely grounds. Lots of parking spaces (but rather narrow).

Creaky floor boards upstairs, heard every movement. Fan in bathroom did not switch off at all. Decor needs refurbishment. No fridge in the room.

Staff we're excellent, very rare to find the level of service that we received. Would highly recommend. Wish we could of stayed longer.
