very nice, would stay again

Our hosts, Robert and Jill are a very friendly and welcoming couple. There were a couple of small inconveniences but nothing major. The food was good especially the meals we had at night. Good value for money. Was planning on re-visiting but unfortunately they are closing down about the middle of this month (December) and will no longer be run as an hotel. My friend and I would like to wish them all the best for the future.

The mattresses and pillows were what I call "tired".

Hotel was ideally placed for Weston Park where we were attending a wedding. The room was clean and comfortable. The owner was really friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. We would definitely stay there again if we were in the area.

The Oaks was a friendly, family hotel. We were made to feel very welcome and comfortable. The choice of food was good and we spent the evening in the bar which was cosy.

There was nothing wrong with it at all ... the decor was a little dated but the hotel was clean and fit for purpose.

The staff are warm and welcoming. The hotel is in good order and the service is first-rate. I will be using this hotel again when I'm in the area....

The oaks was close to weston patk which we where visiting for the game fair hosts were very welcoming and efficient would consider staying there again breakfast was brilliant.

Only downside was mattrrsses were a bit to firm for us and some better curtains would help as we like really dark rooms to sleep

The staff were so friendly and polite, nothing was to much trouble.The food was cooked to perfection. My 4yr is fussy but ate the lot. The bar staff were perfect

The shower was a mixer from the taps and the room seemed to always smell of cigarette smoke even though we were non smoking

The hotel staff were very friendly and approachable, the room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and we stayed for three nights to attend the V featival and there was a brilliant shuttle bus to the festival site that regularly stopped at the hotel. We had an amazing weekend and a big part of that is down to the lovely atmosphere at the hotel. The manager was brilliant and with a great sense of humour. We would not hesitate to stay there again. Excellent.
