Built in 1856, Rosehill House is half a mile south of Burnley town centre. It has retained much of its original architecture, including Italian marble fireplaces and gold leaf ceilings.
Score from 354 reviews Very good

Ingrained dirt on shower dial (sorry but it really was disgusting). I know this is a personal thing but I also thought the breakfast sausages were not to my taste. I understand others may like them but I thought you'd prefer to know.
Location was good and the staff were very friendly. I also thought the spa area was very good. All in all I enjoyed my stay.
You could have had Sky? lol. yeah but I have nothing bad to say its great. the hotel was lovely.
Loved the friendliness of the team. Thank you so much.
ree use of pool and sauna
Breakfast quality is poor. Reception staff needs to learn to smile. Bed very uncomfortable. Corridor door noise massive.
The swimming pool and facilities were good. Ample car parking.
Service at dinner extremely slow Dirty spoons at breakfast No toilet roll Taps in bathroom need attention
Leisure club staff/facilities spot on Lady on reception desk very helpful
The general apperance of the internal decor is quite dated. Threadbare carpets and paint chipped woodwork. My room smelled of damp that was masked, unsuccessfully, by the electric air freshner. The room had a feeling of neglect. Uncomfortable bed. :-(
Lovely main building and entrance hall with very friendly and helpful staff. Good pricing for the accomodation.
Room 366.The radiator in the room stayed on full even though it was turned down. So hot at night! Window wouldn't stay open so cooked like turkeys all night! Only 1 x hot choc? Town Area not the best. Water not very warm for a bath. First room offered was dark, dingy and near air con fans. View from window was a brick wall! On arrival we asked to move and staff relocated us. £65 for the family room which was awful was disappointing but the new room was nice.
The Pillow mist was a nice touch! Clean Room. Very Comfy bed. Staff Helpful.
Staff were helpful, room.was spacious, beds were soo comfy and even had nice plump pillows, room keeping cleaned the rooms every morning of our stay and food was lovely. We went with our 2 young children and they loved the nice heated pool - very posh There was even 2 weddings one night and it didn't effects at all. No noise and no attention lost.
All the staff were very friendly besides one receptionist who I found very rude.
Great location, clean hotel.
Breakfast seemed to be a bit of a mess there was no one in the dinning room but we struggled to find a table made up for breakfast, saying that the breakfast was very good. on the landing going upto the room a group of people had eaten at about 7pm we came down for breakfast at 8am and the food and glasses were still there not good really for the image of the hotel.
Food good & value for money
The room was shabby and there was no lift and had to walk up and down hundreds of stairs to reach the room. Mattress was cheap.
The location was good and the house itself was magnificent outside. The breakfast was very good.
Leisure facilities brilliant hotel very clean in general room was lovely for family of four needs new mattresses but ok really enjoyed our stay here friendly staff and good value for money
Tired hotel but full of character. Bed very springy!
A soul night was on during our trip and we were invited. Great breakfast.
It was cold on the day of our stay but the heating was off in our room, it would have been nice if someone had turned it on or at least mentioned to us that we need to turn the heating on manually
The hotel is situated in lovely grounds and is itself very grand looking.
As always the staff couldn't be more helpful and polite. Made our Valentine's Day special. Many thanks
I decided to propose to my man in Valentines day. The staff knew about this & helped me to plan it out thoroughly. They were so helpful & excited too
Location, price and helpful staff.
Hotel aware of my only complaint.
Loved the welcome on arrival. The lady in the Liv Spar was lovely. Great room
Premises tired and unsuitable for infirm and wheelchairs.
Staff very helpful and accommodating.
The reception staff were very slow and not very helpful all they seemed to want to do was sit down! not the way to run a front of house. The reception desk is the first thing you see, this was not the way to welcome your guests. Because of this I would never stay at this hotel again.
The breakfast was very good.
Pool, hot tub, being upgraded
The room was not the cleanest, and wifi was poor.
The weather but no fault of the hotel!
Me, my husband and little girl went for one night, chose the hotel because of the pool. Pool was lovely and warm, staff were so friendly and rooms lovely. Breakfast was nice too.would definitely recommend.
