Location was fantastic food was good but slightly over priced. The room was amazing and with a wonderful view.
The Oak Tree Inn was wonderful! The surrounding area is gorgeous, the food at the restaraunt was lovely, the room was very nice. We had a wonderful time and definitely reccommed it!
I loved almost everything, the views the room the food was fantastic, staff were helpful and friendly
I didn't like a few things that could be easily fixed, As I had no phone signal I was disappointed there was no phone in the room to contact reception, 100 metres it's down the road, if they used viber at reception we could have contacted them via the free Wifi, Our towels were taken away after our first night and not replaces, The coffee was cold at breakfast on both mornings and again both mornings I had to search through the cutlery to find knives and forks without traces of dried on food, possible machine washed but not quality control checked.
Had a lot nicer pizzas other places i would say the food was the thing that lets this hotel down.
Good food and very helpful staff providing an excellent service. Very good value for money.
Poor and patchy WiFi service.
Checkout at 10 bit early
hotel is right on the loch in a stunning location. we stayed in January and the room was warm and comfortable. The full cooked breakfast in the morning is to die for!! I have never had scrambled eggs that made me swoon. amazing!
The whole atmosphere was marvellous, we stayed in the separate cottage, the amenities were great, stinking view on the lake, beautifully decorated hotel and restaurant, it was one of the best hotels, where we stayed!
Old fashioned style restaurant with log fire. Friendly staff,
location, and friendly staff
was disappointed in food it was very much just bar food no great selection. also even though we were upgraded to premier room it was very small.
The staff are lovely, the food amazing and the rooms are just so comfortable, clean and the location is perfect for a relaxing break.
The wifi connection isn't great, but we were there for a relaxing break, not to use laptops/Facebook so not a problem.

We stayed at the oak tree in during the new year period. There was no aspect of our stay we could fault, the staff were very friendly and helpful, we stayed in a cottage room 41, which was very comfortable and the lounge area was perfect with views of the loch , the restaurant was always full not surprising as the food was delicious , we will 100% be re booking perhaps during the summer months
The wifi signal was not good however we have put this down to the area and not the hotel , perhaps a lounge area would be nice , somewhere to sit and relax of an evening
Great location. Love the lodges real suprise. Def can't wait to go back.
Early checkout... Checkout was 10am and felt this was too early
Friendly, helpful staff
Bathroom too small
location; facilities in room
wifi in room didn't work; breakfast was very minimal
nature, oak tree, dinner...
decoration and atmosphere of the inn were great.
the views from the hotel was breathtaking, the food was the highest standard I would recommend this hotel o anyone
absolutely no complaints
Everything after a 5 hour journey.
Nothing, cannot fault.
Easy to get to from Glasgow airport. Location was great as it is right in the heart of Loch Lomond. You can be there in an hour from the airport!
Room itself was very small, we had a room with twin beds and the beds were very small - ok for family with small children but I was travelling with my grown up son. The room could have had better views given that the cottage itself was right on the lake, but our room did not look onto the lake.
Really enjoyed our stay here very comfortable stay in a lovely hotel in a beautiful location, food great , rooms very clean and modern would definately return here.
No choice on the way I like my eggs at breakfast, scrambled got a bit boring on a five day stay. And they were under cooked on our last day. But food was overall very good.
I liked the accommodation. The rooms were small but compact and the shower room was very clean, apart from the window blind, which had obviously not been pulled down to be cleaned for a while. The restaurant was clean and cosy. Meals were average, but well presented by very friendly staff.
As the accommodation was separate from the main Inn,(not by far), but it felt a bit isolated. I felt that there should have been telephones in the rooms for some form of communication in case of emergencies, as our mobile phones did not pick up a signal.
