Very little Room small, bed small and uncomfortable, nowhere for cases, noisy with bar outside window, no bookings taken at restaurant even for guests resulting in our eating and drinking elsewhere.

Good friendly staff, good breakfast, good shower, nicely decorated room, seemed newly done and I felt comfortable in the room because the decor seemed modern, even tho it was small. Loved the bar area, so welcoming and large and open and with the beautiful log fire. I would stay again but would choose room carefully. The leaflet advertising the Antartex or whatever shopping centre should be torn up because the shopping centre was like a death camp and Oak Tree Inn should not be advertising it. The bed was too low, too small and too soft and there was not enough bedding, I had to turn the heating on at night Needs a soap dish. Needs an electric plug which allows the kettle to stand on the chest of drawers it was on - I had to move it to a VERY hard to get to plug behind the bed - the kettle arrangement did not work well. Also need something to say that there is shampoo and body washing stuff in the automatic dispenser in the shower - took me a while to realise - and the dispenser was difficult to use. Did not like view of house outside as it meant I could not have the blinds open letting in normal light without being seen from the outside. How about venetian blinds? I had to have the lights on all the time - depressing.

The Oak Tree Inn is a great little pub and town along the Highland Way walking route. We stayed in Dan’s Cottage which is one of three little cottages that consist of 3 to 4 rooms in each. Really clean with heaps of space and a good clean bathroom. Also great views out the windows over the loch and into the mountains. The big skylight window in the bathroom was cool too. The pub/restaurant is great, food is really good quality and a big selection of local beers, cider and whisky. There is a little shop next to the Inn that has most supplies, and also does a decent packed lunch for £4.95. Great little beer garden outside the pub under the “Oak Tree”. Free parking just across the road if you are driving. Definitely worth a look and a cool place to stay! The rooms have free Wi-Fi, my computer picked these networks up, although it said limited and access and would not work and we had to go down the pub to receive full access.

Everything. Wish we had stayed longer. Such a beautiful hotel with outstanding food, service, setting, value. We will be back for longer. Nothing really. Wifi didn't work in rooms but that wouldn't deter from recommending it to friends family or for a future visit.
