Good location on promenade near to shops, railway station conference centre and theatre. Supurb breakfasts. Hotel has car parking permits allowing free parking on promenade. Friendly, helpful proprietors.
No lift so not really suitable for those who have difficulty climbing stairs. Car Parking not normally a problem, but can be tricky if there is a conference at the nearby centre.
Warm welcome, friendly and pleasant landlady, excellent breakfast.
The position was close to sea front.
The room was very run down in need of refurbishment, carpet was very dirty. Couldn't wait to leave luckily only one night. Owner/manageress was harassed and run of her feet. Breakfast was adequate but the staff were not happy that there were vegetarians in group although they had not previously been asked and it is not usually a problem.
very comfortable , and welcoming! great breakfast. and spotlessly clean .
the only thing was the construction noise outside my window !
Breakfast and location
Room and bathroom not very clean hairs and dust Bed very uncomfortable
The friendliness of everyone and the comfort of our stay
location was excellent and parking was not a problem. the breakfast was more than enough and service brilliant. The cleanliness was good.
the general décor was dated and the bathroom required a good refurbishment to bring it up to modern standards.
Room and towels small, bathroom very small, bed noisy! Average for a B&B but not a hotel.
Location, warm friendly atmosphere. Spacious airy room with magnificent views. Loved the fact that we could have a bath. The hotel has beautiful gardens was very quiet and parking was no problem. We requested an early booking in time so we could enjoy Llandudno for as long as possible. The hotel owners were very welcoming and breakfast was served very quickly and piping hot. Highly recommended and WILL be back.
TV picture kept breaking up when hubby was watching football, didn't bother me, we didn't go to watch TV.
leaving for the travel lodge up the road!!!!
on arrival room had take away food and make up from previous guest still on side and in sink, when showed to staff told they thought the room was clean.
Very comfortable bed, very clean, friendly staff and a lovely substantial breakfast.
The shower did not work even, but I did report it.
good service, nice staff
A nice atmosphere in the hotel and amongst the other residents, especially welcoming to our two year old.Lovely to have the beach just across the road. Breakfast was excellent and set us up for the day. An added bonus was the free pass and parking in front of the hotel. Thank you to all concerned!
Decor and carpets were a bit tired!
Pleasant Staff throughout our stay, nice location great breakfast to start the day!. We regretted not getting a seaview.
Location - Very friendly staff- very clean-
Too many stairs for mature people. No lift but staff were very helpful with problems.
easy going, quiet, neat & tidy, lovely breakfast
No-one to greet & meet, no-one to say goodbye come again, (suspect too short staffed) damaged switch on kettle, loose toilet seat, closed dining room, closed bar for the evenings
The Oasis hotel on the seafront was perfect for enjoying Llandudno. The hotel staff are very friendly and the hotel comfortable.
Cleanliness, comfortable beds, friendly service, perfect English breakfast, beautiful garden, personalised requests met, free parking facility, lovely sea-view, convenient etc...
A bit disappointed as they no longer serve evening meals and we did look forward for some nice home-cooked food!
Overall excellent hotel
Staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Double bed was comfortable and the bedding and towels were clean and fresh. Also had a free pass to park on road across from hotel.
Hotel was very dated and a little dull, it needs a face lift. The children's bunk beds were uncomfortable they could feel the springs in the mattress. The bathroom was awful, far too small, old and dated and the shower wasn't very good.
Full English breakfast was very good. Members of staff were polite and efficient unlike the owner.
The owner Anne is very flighty and nervous. Always got guests names and rooms wrong which meant she kept asking guests if they had paid up (during breakfast which was rude) complete with the invoice to the breakfast table and would suspiciously ask loudly for checking out dates the moment guests walked through the door with a pointed finger (double rude)!! Had caught her gossiping about guests at the reception desk to other guests (triple rude).Very unprofessional. No phone in the room so you need to walk down to reception for any questions.
The first thing you notice is the beautiful front garden lots of colorful flowers , and our room on the first floor had a great sea view , we had room 1 and it was a pleasant room with comfortable bed .
I didnt like all the stairs as there was no lift and the dining room was in the basement and I have a chest complaint and get well out of breath especially after breakfast going back up to the first floor, I should have booked a hotel with a lift but as it was late in the season with not many hotels left with vacancies .
It was right on the seafront. We were given a parking pass and managed to get parked right in front of the hotel.
Bit too many notices telling what you should not do
The hotel is on the sea front with parking permits for residents, a real bonus in Llandudno. The staff are very friendly and willing to cater for guests needs.
The hotel was directly on the sea front and we had booked the family suite which was huge, 2 bedrooms (both with TV's and dvd players, good sized bathroom (With a bath and walk in shower),dressing room, lounge and a private balcony. The bed linen was crisp and clean, and the owner was lovely, very friendly.
The hotel was certainly looking tired, and was not as clean as I would expect, especially around the bottom of door frames, the base of the shower, in corners etc, all the normal places where dirt collects. There was a space on the wall where a radiator once resided but had been removed (or fallen off), but the piping and brackets had just been left there and it looked unsightly. The breakfast wasn't brilliant, the sausages seemed to be a cheap brand, they were not very nice at all. These were things that we could live with because the good things far outweighed the bad.
