Situated in the delightful market town of Weybridge in Surrey, this charming former traveler's inn has undergone extensive refurbishment, yet still retains much of its original charm.

The hotel building was lovely, our room was lovely
From the time we arrived at 2.30 on the Friday to the time we left 0900 on Saturday, there was only one CD playing Michael Buble Christmas songs. It was lovely at first, however by the time we finished breakfast and left we were fed up with it. The evening meal was not as good as we had hoped, it was presented very nicely, but we had obviously expected better. However, it was not bad.
Hotel is great, staff polite and helpful and didn't keep us waiting. Good wine cellar.
The awful piped 'Christmas' music. Anodyne, repetitive, and unjolly.
The ground are lovely as are the public rooms.
No hot plates for hot buffet breakfast and a nail sticking out of a chair ripped my trousers. An e mail to the hotel has brought no response. reception told me to e mail.
Very good restaurant, excellent food, bar and waiting staff.
My first disappointment was that both the bath and shower water was tepid, at best. I was later accused of smoking in the room (which I didn't) simply because they found cigarette ends in the room bin, which I'd put there after emptying that day's car detritus (as I usually do in all hotels). I was charged for cleaning despite my polite protest. I'll not be returning.
All the staff were friendly and courteous the room was very clean and comfortable, parking was excellent. Would recommend to anyone.
The only thing I really liked was the view, the driveway & the entrance hall
Booked a suite that looked great online. The suite was sparsely furnished and felt a little grim. Unhelpful people and tasteless coffee at £10. A complete rip-off. I travel a lot and will not go there again
The breakfast was very good.
The hotel is in serious need of revamping. The decor is very dated & very tired.
Proximity to unwell friends which made visiting easy
Breakfast - Lack of concern - had to call for glasses for juice and butter at buffet.
Free room upgrade, very nice, pleasant helpful receptionist .
Breakfast plates are to small.
Good size room
Room very cold on arrival and then became too warm - unable to fully regulate. Put on a large table for breakfast as nothing available.
Would like a six foot bed
Lack of wi-fi in the rooms
Very spacious, clean room. Provided lots of information. Food in hotel nice. Clean modern bathrooms. Lovely location.
The sofa at the lobby are worn and cushion are uncomfortable. I don't know what happen but my bed is extremely warm. Even though i have turn on the air conditioner. I asked the reception and they told me that someone has told them the same.
Chose to stay at this hotel to attend a wedding in the area having already been there for Sunday lunch. Country House hotel near the Thames with a level of elegance. Had room on the ground floor.
As with many of these hotels there was a slight element of faded grandeur. Having had lunch at the hotel I found the breakfast choice rather limited compared with other hotels of this quality. Some aircraft noise from Heathrow, particularly when outside in the grounds
Restaurant excellent (if a touch pricey - but worth it) Lovely old building with ornate high ceilings in the foyer.
Sumptuous brekkie v.cumfie bed not enough pillows cozy bathroom
Long walk to room difficult to understand reception staff
Breakfast, especially the sausages Grounds
Customer service Getting locked out of room due to not having modern electronic locks
A great place for a brief stay good value and great staff
The overall interior decor and the beddings etc could do with a good bit of update but still keep the integrity of the building and the history.
The grounds looked very good.
Didn't like the noise door late at night with people closing their doors and I don't sleep very well one night as the person next door had their tv to loud.
Afternoon tea was excellent. tea for two easily fed 3 of us with great savouries and cakes.
We liked the location and the professional attitude of the staff.
The mattress of our bed wasn't of a high quality and could perhaps do with an up-grade.
The food in the restaurant was top quality, very well presented and great flavour! The staff in the bar and restaurant were very good.
Complicated room layout I needed a Sat -Nav to find my room. The hotel air con and ventilation system was on a roof outside my bedroom, not ideal; but it didn't spoil my stay.
