A nice warm atmosphere as a result of old building plus the friendliness of staff. The staff gave its best for the visitors: they are friendly, aware and under stress still smiling. Great pleasure to enjoy such a srvice. Well, the furniture in the dinning room is a bit out of fashion. |

The room was a good size and the food served in the restaurant was very nice. Its a shame the hot tub and steam room are not in the same room. |

The flat screen TV in your bedroom with all the different satellite channels to watch. We expected something with a little more style. The hotel is very old and needs to be upgraded. There is limited parking at the hotel for your vehicle at 5pounds a night. The "free parking" is 1/2km away, when it rains and your pregnant, it isn't very convenient to walk this distance. The staff weren't very friendly, they don't smile at all. And the breakfast was less than desirable. The lift is a bit dodgy. We are in our mid 30s, and we felt as if we were living in an old age home. |

Oban is a lovely town and the hotel is in a good position with a view of the bay and a short walk into town. The room was a bit tired which gave the impression of being a bit grubby. The shower was very poor. A smile from the receptionist on our arrival would have been nice, not very helpful at all. |

I stayed at the hotel for a weekend with my partner. We were visiting friend's in Oban so were out most of friday, but having the spa and hot tub to relax in on the saturday was bliss. Also the bed was so comfy. We didnt like the breakfast , ours was included in our stay. The breakfast is priced at £15 if it was not included I definetly would not have paid that for what we receieved. |

Clean, well appointed hotel overlooking the Bay; attentive staff, very good food. Inevitable lack of parking in view of situation; delays in seating for breakfast. |

The hotel was advertised as recently refurbished, however it was very very shabby, and the bathrooms were covered in limescale, and were not clean. Parking was very limited. We were supposed to have a bay view, however were at the back of the hotel with a narrow view of the bay. |

staff were excellent my reserved car parking place was taken by another car , scrambled eggs were straight out of the microwave and the staff were under pressure to get a tour party through the breakfast room and onto the bus so were quite stressed. |

Having read some pretty scathing reviews of this hotel only after I had made my booking, I was slightly concerned about what to expect until I arrived. Immediately the staff were friendly and hospitable and the room was clean and cosy. The spa facilities were perfect and there was simply nothing better than relaxing in the hot tub watching the lights on the bay. Perfect. |

They did an early breakfast for us. Some of the staff were very helpful and efficient. Tasty breakfast. Decent rooms and nice bar with a great view. Good parking for motorbikes round the back. The barman (day 1) and the breakfast waiter (day 2 ) weren't very helpful. No mushrooms for breakfast. We got a good rate but the walk in rates looked very high. |

The staff were friendly and responded to any requests I made. For a female travelling alone on business the hotel is comfortable and supplies adequate facilities. |

A very good location with good views of the sea front. It was calm and relaxing. Parking was a bit restrictive, but this might be due to the August peak season. |

Boasting spectacular views over the expansive Oban Bay, this newly-refurbished Victorian hotel offers convenient accommodation just minutes away from the town centre. |
This Victorian hotel was built in 1865 and 1901 of Scottish granite and sandstone. |
In the centre of Oban, ideal for Argyll and the Islands, this small Scottish hotel is one of the town's oldest buildings, with a lounge, small bar and views of the waterfront. |
With stunning views out over the bay to the isles of Kerrerra and Mull from its position on lower Oban Hill, this traditional stone-built Victorian villa enjoys a peaceful yet central location. |
