Location Cleanliness Breakfast staff
Check in Dated decor Uncomfortable beds and the squeaky bed noises from the room above during the night and in the morning!!!!
poor customer service
I and my friend are elderly. We had a single room each ,facing the sea. The lift was a bonus. The weather was beautiful, but if it been bad there was a very comfortable lounge to sit in. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Stayed a week.
A small bedside table would have enhanced the room as there was nowhere to put very small articles when in bed.
Room large and on the front overlooking the sea.
Wash sink in the room. Shower and toilet were crammed in a very small space probably a cupboard.
Location was good. Right across the road from the sea. Bed was comfy also. Room was clean.
Hotel is very dated. Room had a bit of a makeover but still rather lacking. Bathroom was old as was some of the furniture. Communal areas are in need of a facelift and the lift is hillarious. I have never seen the likes!!!
Staff are great
Curtains in room and damp Patch on ceiling
Comfortable beds Great breakfast Cheap parking Easy to find
Outside tables were all dirty
Position and cleanliness
Extra single bed squashed into a double room.
The room was tastefully presented with a wonderful floor to ceiling view of the sea, the sunrise and moonrise. It was at the quiet end of Eastbourne with easy flat access to be beach and pleasant green outlook across the road.Food was good and staff helpful. Parking was good at this time of the year. Restaurants round the corner.
The en suite was adequate but it was obvious that a larger one would have spoiled this splendid room. As disabled people the steps were a bit of a problem but would have been easier with a hand rail on top of the wall.
Allowed to check in early. Parking permit very handy. Lovely clean room. Great views of the sea. Large comfy bed. Very nice breakfast. Friendly helpfull staff. Would stay there again.
Lovely hotel right on the seafront. Delicious "full English" breakfast. Smooth lift ride up to the 3rd floor.
Parking in Eastbourne near the hotel was impossible before 5pm on our first day due to the Airshow but OK afterwards.
Friendly staff and easy to get wirh walking distance to restaurants
Room dated. No lift had carry my luggage ( due restrictions on lift use time ) restaurant did not open on the eve i .No bath and shower very small
The lightness of the room with three bay windows facing the sea. The bed. Amazingly comfortable and added greatly to our enjoyment of our stay for afternoon snooze and night time sleeping. The display of flowers outside the hotel was dazzling and so appreciated as it spoke volumes about the care within!
Just as last year the shower/toilet are so small. Understand logistics but very difficult at times. Put television on when wanting a really private toilet visit!!! Just one tea bag each for morning and afternoon is understandable but!....
Nice seafront views, Comfy bed and large room.
Room got rather warm and didn't have air conditioning. Very small bathroom.
Well located nice little hotel, ideal for a weekend break
The location! Clean and bright room with a nice sea view, huge bed and very comfy too!
Parking Facilities could be improved.
Very helpful staff, located on beach.
I liked the facilities, location, attitude of staff members. Despite being below and away from the lovely sea, I found it comfortable and relaxing overall. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who intends on visiting EASTBOURNE!
Could of provided a on the house free drink :), hoover the carpet, add a clock in the bedroom.
The professional staff, everyone friendly who could not do enough to help. The room was very clean and the bed was very big and comfortable. Very quiet so a good nights sleep was had. The Hotel provide a parking permit and at any other time of the year is a very welcomed facility. Very well placed for the theatres and the town centre. We did not have to use our car during our stay as everything was within walking distance. Excellent
The fact that we could not park our car near Hotel. Not Hotel's fault as roads had been closed due to Airbourne event.
The view from room 27.
Breakfast was plasticky. Shower; hot and cold labelling is reversed on the tap.
Fantastic to find a grand piano in the lounge. Nice and easy - good breakfast. Nice People
What a shame the bar was not open so we could celebrate an 80th birthday with one of the best jazz pianists of his generation
The room was decorated to a good standard with nice furnishings and the breakfast room was a delight in the morning on a sunny day, next to the flowers and sunshine. I enjoyed my stay here and would recommend to others.
The lift was quite precarious and the decor in the communal area felt very dated, a contrast to the modern rooms.
The room was spacious enough with a kingsize bed and very comfortable. Large lounge with bar and excellent restaurant for breakfast in the basement. Location right on the seafront. Helpful reception and restaurant staff.
Can't think of anything.
Location, helpful staff, included breakfast made get up in time, seaview
Wi-fi worked only in the lounge area, a very noisy and scary lift which didn't work at night
The staff were friendly and the location was ideal for our needs. Slept well in a comfy bed other than the sound of the seagulls but cant blame that on the hotel!
The hotel was a bit stuffy on arrival and the shower head was useless so gave up and had a bath.
