Earlier than usual breakfast to acommodate us in the Beachy Head Marathon
Good location and friendly staff
The allocated room did not have a very nice outlook, but given the price we paid for our room I suppose I cannot complain.
Right on the seafront
Check in has to be before 9pm. Check out is a measily 10am. The beds are uneven and very uncomfortable and the whole hotel feels grubby.
The staff, especially Georgie who seemed to be everywhere(checking us in, bar, breakfast), were very helpful. Breakfast was really nice as was our room. Shame it didn't overlook the sea but I guess is was quieter. Location was excellent with a fine Thai restaurant near by. Nice cosy bar area. Tea\Coffee making facilities Shampoo etc provided which is a nice touch. Very good 3 star hotel and with a little more could be 3.5-4star
Shame there was no evening meal although it didn't matter too much due to the proximity of restaurants in the area. Biscuits and more milk would be nice.
was given 2 single beds pushed together very uncomfortable, the window did not open so no fresh air, ordered a pint of beer at the bar and was advised by the bar person that it was not a good idea to have a pint on tap as the lines had not been cleaned !! very strange and finally the breakfast was very poor quality it was processed and the sausage all 3 inches of it was tasteless not a very nice experience and the young receptionist had no interest in her job
The views from are room and very good location.
Rooms where clean and well decorated al very nicey done and clean
Shower / toilet room was very small in our room, lavatory was loose and flush whilst it worked was also loose
Immaculately clean. Slept well on the incredibly comfy bed. Lovely view over the Wish Tower. Nicely presented breakfast - not dripping with grease. Staff were pleasant and helpful. The parking permit to use in any parking bay nearby for £1 per day was really helpful. Lots to see locally.
Water pressure in our shower on the 3rd floor was truly pathetic - you couldn't even wash skin or short hair, let alone long hair! Hot water also took a long time to reach us.
Location Cleanliness Breakfast staff
Check in Dated decor Uncomfortable beds and the squeaky bed noises from the room above during the night and in the morning!!!!
poor customer service
I and my friend are elderly. We had a single room each ,facing the sea. The lift was a bonus. The weather was beautiful, but if it been bad there was a very comfortable lounge to sit in. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Stayed a week.
A small bedside table would have enhanced the room as there was nowhere to put very small articles when in bed.
Room large and on the front overlooking the sea.
Wash sink in the room. Shower and toilet were crammed in a very small space probably a cupboard.
Location was good. Right across the road from the sea. Bed was comfy also. Room was clean.
Hotel is very dated. Room had a bit of a makeover but still rather lacking. Bathroom was old as was some of the furniture. Communal areas are in need of a facelift and the lift is hillarious. I have never seen the likes!!!
Staff are great
Curtains in room and damp Patch on ceiling
Comfortable beds Great breakfast Cheap parking Easy to find
Outside tables were all dirty
Position and cleanliness
Extra single bed squashed into a double room.
The room was tastefully presented with a wonderful floor to ceiling view of the sea, the sunrise and moonrise. It was at the quiet end of Eastbourne with easy flat access to be beach and pleasant green outlook across the road.Food was good and staff helpful. Parking was good at this time of the year. Restaurants round the corner.
The en suite was adequate but it was obvious that a larger one would have spoiled this splendid room. As disabled people the steps were a bit of a problem but would have been easier with a hand rail on top of the wall.
Allowed to check in early. Parking permit very handy. Lovely clean room. Great views of the sea. Large comfy bed. Very nice breakfast. Friendly helpfull staff. Would stay there again.
Room not as described (no bath) Quality minimal Manager rude - indicated the failure to provide a bath was my fault! Fire doors propped open at night Lift not working late at night
Lovely hotel right on the seafront. Delicious "full English" breakfast. Smooth lift ride up to the 3rd floor.
Parking in Eastbourne near the hotel was impossible before 5pm on our first day due to the Airshow but OK afterwards.
Good location and a very comfortable bed, good breakfast, very friendly staff.
the room was a bit small but not too bad for one night stay, there was some noise, coming from the aircon, from another building (we had a room at the back) but the noise stopped around 10pm and it was very quiet for the night,
Friendly staff and easy to get wirh walking distance to restaurants
Room dated. No lift had carry my luggage ( due restrictions on lift use time ) restaurant did not open on the eve i .No bath and shower very small
The lightness of the room with three bay windows facing the sea. The bed. Amazingly comfortable and added greatly to our enjoyment of our stay for afternoon snooze and night time sleeping. The display of flowers outside the hotel was dazzling and so appreciated as it spoke volumes about the care within!
Just as last year the shower/toilet are so small. Understand logistics but very difficult at times. Put television on when wanting a really private toilet visit!!! Just one tea bag each for morning and afternoon is understandable but!....
Nice seafront views, Comfy bed and large room.
Room got rather warm and didn't have air conditioning. Very small bathroom.
Well located nice little hotel, ideal for a weekend break
