Self service breakfast
The breakfast was super, The views from the room The super friendly staff The way we were moved to a fantastic family room after problems with the loud guests above our room on the first night.
The loud clicking of wood from the hot water pipes and the very sqeaky old floor boards
great bed and spacious room..very kind portoguese receptionist who gave me useful advices
wifi signal not Always good...but not a big deal
Very good well done to all the staff at the hotel. A credit to the catering trade.
location short walk to city centers stunning views and excellent walks
We stayed there for 4 nights, and received very reasonable price, we did not expect such great service for the price. The staff were helpful, smiling. we really enjoyed our stay. Free parking was good as there is restrictions on the street. and free wi fi was very handy. Room was neat and clean, not modern, but unique. We received a 10% discount for the restaurant,
floor in bathroom was carpet
Our room looked out perfectly onto the seafront and the wonderful views of Bournemouth, the rooms were huge and very clean, staff were very friendly and more than happy to help with any problems! Will definitely be visiting the Ocean view hotel again.
Friendly staff. Very good food.
The bedroom was very poorly decorated and tiles missing in en suite, also a cracked sink. We paid for Dinner B & B. The dinner menu was very limited (not the inclusive menu that was shown on line).
Good room Good price Good location
Staff said they would do things that they didn't do for example get an iron, and put us down for late checkout
Excellent except pillows were uncomfortable.
Pillows and, teabag in room were horrible.
Very friendly and welcoming staff. Very comfortable and quiet room
We had a room with a lovely view across the sea shore.
To eat we had to go next door to the restaurant in the sister hotel. But the food was very good there.
Welcoming staff. Good breakfast. Excellent location.
Décor tired. Bathroom needed refurbishment- patchy tiles; leaking towel rail which was not working;; toilet handle loose.
24 hour bar
The room The fact our had a leak and it took over an to resolve our issue we had been upgraded but if I'm honest there was no difference we either had a standard bathroom and poor room or standard room and poor bathroom if I'm completely honest i should have asked for a refund would rather of slept on the sea front !
Excellent value for money. Lovely, friendly, smiley staff :) Would recommend to anyone.
We got more then we asked for and it was a beautiful view and a beautiful room to stay in
I think a bigger or more bins should be supplied in the rooms
All was perfect, only stayed one night before early flight, so didn't have breakfast, but no complaints about anything at all! And for the price we paid, it was incredible!
Came he my my other halls birthday as a surprise, in the post I sent ballons etc and they set it up in the room lovely. Close to centre, 15 min walk from the pier. Staff were really accommodating. Going back in February, wouldn't stay anywhere else.
Only thing was the breakfast staff. Not very happy, but would not let that affect my view on the place.
wanted to turn down rads but couldn,t
Comfort of bed and very pleasant receptionists and staff.
Shower in bathroom and having to go out in the cold to have breakfast at the Boutique Hotel next door.
there was a television ,facillities for making tea or coffee .not far from breakfast room ,
windows need to be renewed especially in bathroom as made it cold in there even though heating was on ,apart from knowing about a wedding reception being held there ,theyre was no respect about the other guest trying to sleep after music stopped and going to there rooms .if these were better then would stay again .
EVERYTHING ,VERY NICE ROOM 3RD FLOOR WITH A STUNNING VIEW OF THE OCEAN ! COMFORTABLE BED, BREAKFAST VERY NICE,GOOD CHOICE,STAFF VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL,WOULD COME BACK AGAIN.
Ocean View Hotel is situated in an excellent location. Our 2nd floor room had great views of the sea.Views of isle of Wight on the left+ Poole Harbour on the right. Breakfast had plenty of options, fresh fruit, dried fruit, cereals+ cooked. Spoilt for choice. Hotel is approximately 10min walk to town centre. Beach is less than 5mins. We would have no hesitation in staying here again.
Nothing to dislike.
I liked how friendly the staff were when we first arrived and throughout the stay at the hotel, the view was lovely, you could see the sea and the sunset, the room was really nice too, really comfortable and a good size
the only thing I didn't like was the shower, the water just didn't seem powerful enough
