The grounds and position were good. Our bathroom was terrible. Not enough water pressure so one of us had to use a friends room to shower. The window was broken so was permanently open. |

Rooms were comfortable and well equipped. The hotel offered nightly entertainment and was well subscribed by the patrons. The quality of the breakfast was disappointing. The full English breakfast was fine but anything else was not well presented. |

bar staff friendly, room comfortable enough. as it was an overnight stay to meet a friend we never got to see much of the hotel to comment further the morning after we went for breakfast at precisely the time we were told they opened to find no staff present. we sat at a table and helped ourselves to cereals, and whilst eating, a lady arrived and demanded to know who had put us on that particular table. I replied we did as there were no staff in evidence. I was then rather loftily advised there was a seating plan for breakfast! Luckily the ogre did not insist we moved tables. If the hotel is not ready to receive breakfast diners at the time they specify for commencement then it is hardly the guests fault if they simply wander in. This incident will remain my memory of the hotel. You may see from your records that I am returning to Bournemouth in early October and have booked elsewhere |

The hotel is very shabby overall. We had a broken window in our bedroom, all the metal railings around the hotel were rusty and worn or broken.A wall around the pool was badly cracked and in danger of falling.the steps in the pool were loose. |

The flloors squeak, the doors bang, people in the corridors are noisy. There was a major conflict in the corridor at 2pm, people shouting, banging on doors, awful experience. We checked out after only 1 night There was a problem in the restaurant over a gluten free meal, it is run by Polish staff, who don't really understand English. The waitress brought the manager to our table and accused me of swearing at her, she reminded me of Mrs Clegg, from a Jame's Bond Movie, we didny get charged for the meal. |

Nice location overlooking the cliffs and just about the right distance from the noisier parts of town! Free parking for guests. Family rooms. Lack of wireless internet |

The pool and the garden were fantastic, the location on the cliff was dramatic and made for interesting local walks but it was a mile out of town so very quiet and peaceful. one hot night my room was like an oven - i would have liked to open the windows more than a few inches - the other 2 nights it was still slightly stuffy. |

Room was comfortable and breakfast was very good. Was kept awake all night by all male goup booking in town for a birthday party. The hotel aloud them to drink on the terrace beneath our bedroom window till 1.30 in the morning-then carry on in the bar untill 4.Then by 4.45 they were back outside diving into the pool again. When I did go to complain I had to climb across two of the group who had fallen asleep on the stairs. |

Hotel was clean, room was nice, pool looked good, breakfast wasnt bad. check out in the morning was too early. we had a stag party running around the corridors at 5am which spoilt the stay. £90 for one night is a lot considering most hotels I have stayed in of this quality are half the price, and thats in bournemouth as well. I didnt have an ocean view, rather a view of the car park and street! |

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. There was no questions asked when a request was made. The hotel ran very efficiently without any evident supervision. Location wise was very good for the beach. The hot water in the room was scalding without any warning signs, the shower screen was ineffectual water ran underneath it all over the floor, the maid left the window open every day after cleaning even though we were a ground floor room which was on the street. The lighting in the room was poor. Everywhere was clean on the surface however if you looked up anywhere the place was filthy especially the lights and plastic flowers in the restaurant. The hotel is in definate need of major refurbishment and certainly not worth £110 per night. When we used the indoor pool in the hotel next door the poolside was filthy and the toilet in the female changing area was blocked and had been for sometime, i reported this to reception at the time. |

The view. That is the only good thing about it. !!!! It was so tired . No way is this hotel a 3* it would be lucky to be graded a 1 !!! Room maintenance dreadful. Drawers broken. Bath handle broken, loo roll holder broken. The pool in sister hotel horrendous, how do you explain sand in an indoor pool ? Smelly, just plain terrible. |

Great sea view Only stayed one night. The standard of food served for the evening meal was very disappointing - quality ingredients would make all the difference, and apart from breakfast all food seemed to be reheated. At time of booking this was the only available hotel with a family room. We would have definitely cancelled the booking (several weeks prior to our stay) to be closer to event we were visiting in Poole had there not been a full one night charge cancellation fee. This is the first time I have encountered such a charge after staying in hotels all over Europe and US. |
