Staff were welcoming, attentive and helpful. Would recommend for anybody looking for an intimate getaway in the country.

Room 6 four poster is rickety and squeaks every time you move. Needs replacing or making firm. Bed also needs a canopy to be a true 4 poster, also wardrobe doors don't close.

A nice escape from Luton airport into the romantic historic atmosphere. Big, clean and cozy rooms, excellent service, nice breakfast, very good value for money

Lovely location, staff were friendly and very helpful, we were the only people staying in the hotel and were made very welcome.

Room was hot and could not open the windows. fan avalible so had that on all night, staff did say if we had told them they would have moved us to another room.

The room was really cold but the lovely receptionist brought some heaters for the night. So all was good.

Hotel was rather hot

This was a beautiful country house hotel minutes from Hitchin. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It would be a perfect setting for a wedding but on this occasion I was staying because I was working locally.

A return visit to Offley Place. We love the setting and ambience of the Hotel. The staff are helpful and pleasant. The snow was a bonus !

There were plumbing problems in our room and the staff very helpfully transferred us to an adjacent room where there was a lack of water and definitely no hot water the next morning! Again , the staff were very helpful , but the plumbing needs to be sorted!

Friendly welcome, spacious room and a good bathroom. All clean and tidy. The service & food in the dining room were excellent. Overall a great place to stay.

A lovely country house of perfect proportions. Our room was big with quality furnishings and a large bathroom with white fluffy towels. It was quiet with gorgous views of the grounds. The staff were friendly and professional.

Almost reluctant to share with the world that there is a truly nice hotel within 15 mins of Luton Airport. Lovely old house, beautiful grounds, you would never know you are so close to the airport / Luton town .... Staff are, without exception, extremely charming and helpful, and everything seemed to run very efficiently (which makes a pleasant change these days).

One small thing - they cease serving breakfast at 9am, which is a little early, especially as the location/venue is perfect for a chill out stay....

A beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was of a very high standard. My room was comfortable and picturesque with great views of the surrounding countryside.

The hotel and grounds were well kept and of the highest standard. I would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful setting in very well kept grounds; lovely old building beautifully decorated; comfortable, spacious room; good bed and bed linen; lovely, generous breakfast very nicely presented; extremely pleasant staff and warm, friendly reception. Set in pretty, peaceful countryside yet only a short drive from Luton airport, M1 and A1M.

Breakfast last orders 9.30 on a Sunday! Checkout at 11 with foreboding sign warning of charges if you leave later. Tacky signs on main front door - not a four star look.
