Location excellent with cheap car parking very near. Breakfast included and very nice. Electric showers so hot water on tap in the en suite. Comfortable bed in spotless rooms. Very pleased given the price paid, will use again with pleasure.
Decor dated is the only downside so overall the pros far outweigh the cons here.
Ground floor windows open fully anybody could get in
breakfast was good Staff were friendly
Very noisy outside the room Carpets were badly stained Floor not solid in places Shower not working propily and leaking
all aspects of the hotel..very well set out..
nothing...all good..no problems
The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff were exceptionally helpful, going above what was expected. I would highly recommend this place.
If needed, the difficulty in the surrounding area for parking.
Staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was excellent - room was compact, but comfy and quiet.
That I couldn't finish my lovely breakfast!
Breakfast as good
Bed and bathroom
The old uncomfortable beds, tiny bathroom, shower and washbasin. The noise in the streets and only 6 parking spaces for many rooms.
Staff were helpful.
Room had a few things that didn't work. Wifi was patchy
Were allowed to check in early & Location
Showers were awful, hot then cold in one room the shower head was completly broken
Excellent location just off the quay
Nothing really , only thing we did notice ,water pipes a bit noisy when other guests were running showers etc . Bit of air in the pipes but no real hardship
Friendly and helpful staff Clean Good breakfast Good price Wi Fi not bad. Some buffering but not enough to ruin the film.
Limited parking and the road is too busy to stop and unload. The nearest parking is a few minutes walk across the busy street. They might think about leaving one of the parking bays as a loading bay. I had to walk with my bags and it want fun. Tiny shower. I am a very small woman and I had trouble washing in the shower. I'm not sure a normal size man or woman would fit inThere and be able to move around to wash. This was room number 3. So you might want to check that out before you book.
Good welcome and location near shop and city center. Very Good bed for sleeping calm and the price not quite expensive in comparison with otherq
Low cost was just what I was looking for and the breakfast was included in the price. I'd stay here again..
Google has them in a totally different place, so I had to phone the hotel for the postcode so I could put it in to the sat nav..
The staff were excellent and even accommodated my son at breakfast for a nominal charge. I was very impressed that when I asked for a quiet room, that was exactly what we got.
The shower seemed to have a mind of it's own and, for my taste, the bed could have been firmer.
staff where friendly, good location to town centre room was nice and clean. Parking outside
A bit noisy at the front on a main Rd.
Only plus side the bed was clean
Interior of the "hotel" was dated in poor condition and dirty carpets in public areas. Breakfast was unedable as poor quality bacon and sausages. Staff on arrival were friendly and helpfulf.
Cheapest price that I found online and as such didn't have huge expectations. Had 2 good nights' sleep on third floor bedroom with ensuite and free parking in-front of hotel to boot!
Another one of the tired little hotels in the UK. Sad. It has potential, but lots of work needs to be done.
nice pleasant staff helpful advice comfortable bed decent safe central location
room was a little poky. breakfast ok but a bit greasy and lukewarm (it tastes much better if everything is hot and served on hot plates!). coffee was also ok-ish not good. Overall felt like a fairly average budget place. if you can book ahead and get a fairly b&b for the same price it'll be much nicer
The single bed mattress is very bad.
Helpful staff, good food, clean room
Coming from a rural home I found the road noisy, both from traffic and people. It's amazing how voices travel and what information could be picked up! Given the warm temperatures, closing the window wasn't an option.
Cleanliness and decor
Excellent value for a budget hotel. Staff very polite and helpful. Good breakfast selection.
Wash basin very small. Insufficient elbow room in shower cubicle. To dry oneself you had to step out of cubicle, on to carpet, before able to dry yourself. Paint splats left on tiled floor of toilet following redecoration.
The hotel looked tired and worn, in need of decoration, new carpets decent bedding. The towels were old and had holes in them! A box of tissues in the room would have been a nice touch!
