Set in a peaceful, old world street in the picturesque fishing village of St. Aubin, this charming family-run guest house boasts spectacular views over the bay and Elizabeth Castle.
Score from 136 reviews Very good
In a great location on Havre des Pas, 5.5 miles from Jersey Airport, Hotel De Normandie is across from the beautiful Bay of St Clement.
Score from 857 reviews Good
Set on secluded grounds, Hotel Miramar offers magnificent views out over St Brelade’s Bay. The hotel features a swimming pool and sun terrace, and the sandy St Brelade Beach is 1000 ft away.
Score from 68 reviews Very good
Situated on Havre Des Pas’ seafront, the family-run Maison Chaussey Guest House offers a bar, restaurant, and free Wi-Fi throughout. St Helier’s town centre is just 10 minutes’ walk away.
Score from 104 reviews Very good
Convenience for the waterfront etc and a great British breakfast. Pretty quiet undisturbed night's sleep in a comfortable bed.
Views were nothing special but what can you expect for the money! I like a bath- shower only(which worked fine by the way). Décor is dated.
Breakfast was fair
Like having a Shower in a cupboard shower was warm Difficult parking and limited,Was not easy to find, not very good sign posted. It said Wifi but could not get it in the room.
hard to find easy to go straight past.
Lounge and dining room pleasant
Rooms cramped and shabby
Close to centre of attractive harbour village. Easy access to airport, rugby club and St Helier - all about 15 minutes bus ride. Good walking on safe routes (e.g. disused railway now an excellent cycle/footpath). Friendly staff. Well cooked breakfast. We will go again.
Not very much really. Not easy to find if you haven't been before. It is comfortable rather than fashionable. There were a couple of cobwebs, but that's about it.
Fantastic location in a quiet area of St Aubin. Close to the harbour, close to shops, bars and restaurants.
The guest house is stuck in the 1970's and is looking a little tired and just a bit of TLC would make it a much more pleasant place to stay. Having said that if you are on a budget and don't intend spending much time in your room then go for it as St Aubin is a beautiful place to stay.
Family atmosphere and welcoming feeling. Would definitely use again.
Nothing comes to mind.
The friendliness of the owner Phil and his staff. The Breakfast was brilliant. Lovely comfortable bed. Good shower. Would definitely go again.
There was nothing not to like. OK, the approaches to the hotel were a little hairy for a big car but although 82 I have driven larger vehicles in to worst places.
Relaxed, informal atmosphere .Excellent choice for breakfast and happy/ friendly staff.
Firstly the location minutes walk to harbour shops and restaurants
Wifi coverage limited
Lovely breakfast, comfortable bed. Clean sheets and towels. Price was right too. Would stay here again. The location is excellent for the shops and restaurants being 50 yards away from the front
nice staff breakfast nice. Location lovely with good restaurants. Bus service around the island cheap and reliable.
Guest house a little hard to find.
The location of the Olanda Guest House is fantastic with lots of places to eat and drink only a short walk away, as well as easy access to the airport and bus connections. The staff were very friendly and breakfast was great.
The Olanda Guest House is somewhat tired and run down - the entire place needs a bit of sprucing up and a good lick of paint.
tight parking area
Location and car parking.
Tight street access for vehicle.
Location was excellent, a short walk to local restaurants and the harbour.
Rooms smelt a bit like mould, breakfast was big but quite cheap and the parking was extremely difficult and we had to leave car keys as we got blocked in so we didn't even bother parking there on the second night.
Relaxing atmosphere. Very good breakfast. If you have a birthday you've got a cake, exelent!
Room was very dated. Wardrobe, units and doors damaged. Bedroom door had hole in it. Toilet and shower (en-suite facilities) was a very small box room, shower had 'whale curtain' . Sink was in our bedroom not in the 'en-suite box room. Bed side 'shelf' was a piece of aged melamine, with edging trim missing so you could see the chipboard. Dust all over the room. Carpet grubby . Top cover on bed very obviously not washed. Patio are as advertised was our door leading out to some broken down chairs and tables. Free on site parking was advertised , however on arrival we were encouraged to move and park in town. This was quite a distance to walk back up the steep hill for anyone let alone myself walking with crutches. That said my husband refused and we kept our vehicle in one of the two spaces available. Also, the Olanda on first arrival is very difficult to find.
Good location for our needs.
Bathroom door didn't close, dirty carpets, unpleasant smell on pillows. General cleanliness below standard.
Staff where friendly and helpful, lovely breakfast served piping hot, Rooms a good size although could do with being up-dated
Location of guest house was very difficult to find very narrow road, found it difficult to get my car in and out
Not child friendly, parking situation, not prepared for children, mould in the shower, coffee and tea not replenished ,the B and B was not as advertised and wouldn't choose it again
Pleasant lounge and breakfast room, parking (a bit congested and may have to shuffle cars). Friendly staff, good value, great location
Room decor and facilities very dated and cheap, a little refresher with paint , shower, and new mattresses would go a long way
The owner was extremely helpful when sorting out our booking and was very friendly and personable.
Fantastic value for money. Good quantity of breakfast offered. Ability to come and go as we liked. Towels changed every other day. Sheets and towels brilliant white, fresh and clean. Hot water available both morning and night.
We were on the ground floor and windows were left open every time we came back, this meant we kept everything locked in our luggage. We did not report it because we found a way round it by locking our suit cases.
very warm and friendly place who make you feel welcome.
the parking was a bit tight at times but they tried their best to get everyone parked up.
