Helpful, friendly and welcoming. Excellent breakfast

Parking not easy for larger cars.

Lots of choice for breakfast and they accommodated us as veggies. Very friendly owners.

The pillows were very hard. It wasn't easy to use the shower. The walls were paper-thin (could hear the people next door brushing their teeth!) Communal breakfast table which mean we had to eat with a family with 3 children under 5.

The room in the old chapel was very comfortable and warm. I was very impressed by the efforts gone to make the building and all its processes green. The breakfasts are also much better than the typical B&B; the host family go to a lot of trouble to make people welcome and at ease.

It was extremely cold weather but it was lovely and cosy relaxing and quite the surrounding were beautiful and the breakfast was great

Not really easy to find

A warm,and clean room with excellent facilities. Comfy bed and an excellent breakfast. Great location in the Sussex Countryside, but close enough to Chichester.

Lovely space, excellent breakfast and nice host

Had a wonderful pre-xmas break here for two nights. Apart from the soggy weather we had nothing to complain about. The room was cozy and warm and the breakfast was great! :)

Very nice owners with good conversation over substantial breakfast. Made to feel very welcome. Nothing too much trouble. Nice to have a drinks fridge in the room and owners provided fresh milk every day for us.

The car parking is very difficult if you have a large car. Very awkward to back in but even more difficult to back out onto main road. You can only hope that if the other room in the forge is taken that they leave before you so that you can turn your car round!

Quiet, modern in a historic building, clean, friendly, comfortable, in the countryside with good access to sea, Chichester etc. Good food and friendly owner.

Nothing, it was all good

Very unusual, but well-equipped room. Excellent breakfast.

Parking is good but access is difficult. Involved reversing out into a fairly busy road.

Sandra the owner was open and sociable. She is also an excellent cook. The position of the Forge is wonderful with super sunsets and big skies. There is great scope for exploration and study of wildlife, and the beach at West Wittering is a must for any visitor.

If you have a medium to large car then the parking facilities are difficult because of the lack of space to turn if two cars are present. It is far too dangerous to attempt to reverse out on to the road.

A prize winning breakfast, a great location, the room was clean, bright and unique. The welcome was warm, after we had been shown to our room we found a packet of chocolate buscuits, numerous milks, serveral teas, coffees (both caffinated and decaf) and a jar of hot chocolate waiting for us, a great stay, we will book again.

It was exactly as described in the blurb, it was a bit different, the owners very helpful and friendly

It's ideal for children with a garden for them to play in,my daughter loved feeding the geese in the main garden,it was a very friendly run place which always helps when ur away for a break,I highly recommend staying here.

The building itself was an interesting conversion with some stylish peices of wrought iron in the bedroom.

1. Dusty 2. Too much furniture in room - no room for our belongings 3. Poor quality bed coverings, cushions and curtains. Poor lighting in room 4. Bathroom - no shelving to put your own items on 5. Very friendly, helpful owners, excellent breakfasts

The room, being an old chapel, was very dark, with high, narrow windows. The only window overlooking the garden was shielded by a large shrub, and the lighting in the room was inadequate. The mattress needed replacing; it was creaky and you could feel the springs. My husband is disabled and has difficulty in getting in and out of a bath, but there were no rails or handles to assist him - which tend to be needed by most older people. There was nowhere in the bathroom to put a spongebag, shaving gear, etc. except the floor. The tv was sited on top of a high wardrobe, which made it difficult to see.

The old chapel room was lovely with lots of little luxuries like chocolate chip cookies and toiletries that aren't usually provided. The bed was very comfortable. The owners were very friendly and helpful. We had lunch in the garden looking out over the countryside. The breakfast was particularly good with fresh local produce.

All I can say in truth is this, and I mean truth! I loved my / our stay in your wonderful home. So much to take in, in one go, The history, the feeling of being welcome, the feeling of an individual, not one of many. My partner, who is a master chef in her profession of Thai food. She is wanted as her trade through-out the uk. She praised your approach to your service, friendship, everything. To use her words, and words of one very well known actor. " i"ll be back". Again a very big thank you.

Lovley buildings, friendly welcome and super room. We were made to feel very comfortable and the owners were very hospitable. Super breakfast in the morning and it was nice to all sit around the kitchen table with the other guest.

Nothing not to like

The Old Chapel was a lovely place to stay, Sandra and Charles were very welcoming and the breakfast was fantastic, very tasty. The views from the back room were lovely and the room had everything you could wish for.

The land lady was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area, she went the extra mile to drive us into the next village for a meal. The breakfast was very good, especially the continental
