The situation opposite the cathedral.
Double bed with duvet cover much bigger than the duvet so most uncomfortable. At least beds should be 5ft wide. Shower room poor. Breakfast choice poor and we had to ask for toast both days. Cereals mostly for children.
Friendly staff Lovely food....freshly cooked breakfast Bedrooms comfortable
Very comfortable double room Well-designed modern decor Friendly & helpful staff Great location opposite cathedral
Breakfast a little uninspired
Small room Bathroom hazardous Very noisy, continual clomping about overhead No vegetarian breakfast
Lovely position, overlooking cathedral. Room very nice, and dining area very spacious.
Comfortable bed, close to everything, pleasant staff and great food.
Not able to open window to cool off room due to no screen and thus flying bugs.
Very close to the pretty village. Charming old building. Great hearty breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff.
Shower door a bit tight so best not to be a big build when getting in and out of the shower.
I recently spent 2 nights at Old Churches House with friends for a family celebration. The accommodation was excellent. Very clean, and bed was very comfortable. We had a meal in the restaurant which was delicious. They catered well for the children who cleared their plates which says it all. I would recommend to friends
Great position in front of marvellous Cathedral. Dunblane an undiscovered jewel. The Cathedral is wonderful. Rooms were very nicely set out and the whole decor and finishing were lovely.
Slightly musty smell in the room disappeared after a while. Lamb shank in the restaurant, but everything else was very good.
Modern fittings and very clean Good value, good quality food Quiet and secluded location Easy access to main roads of Perthshire
No bedside table within reach
Location close to Stirling. Room large and clean. Staff excellent. Good restaurant for dinner. Good price. Very quiet street.
Location is very good
Room is quite small and I could here a guest snoring in the room above us. I would definitely not stay on the ground floor
It looked good on the booking .com nice view.
The room was too small with only one chair, mind you, you would not have got another chair in the room. The first room number 3 had the dirtiest shower I have ever seen. We were given another room number 6 this was a little better but the curtain rail was falling off the wall, the breakfast was of poor quality, hot plates but cold food. Would not recommend this place.
The location was great, across from Cathedral, walking distance to restaurants (Riverside Restaurant was awesome!) Also close to Stirling and Doume Castles. Breakfast was delicious.
When asked where we should walk for a park or to just get out before dinner, the receptionist didn't know much about the town, she had never walked down to the river, which was sort of weird...it's a very small town. There was a strong overpowering air freshener smell in the hallway, but the rooms were fine.
The location worked well for us, as we were visiting Stirling for sightseeing and Gleneagles for golf. We enjoyed walking on the path by the river and being able to walk on the main streets of town and to the cathedral across the street.
The church bells ring at night, which woke me up several times, but that's what happens when you stay across the street from a cathedral! And then the fire alarm went off in the early morning when the steam from someone's kettle was too close to the smoke detector. The king bed room we had was very cramped, with no room for nightstands or lamps.
Tremendous location, outstanding food and friendly staff
No negative aspects to this stay
In middle of town. Adjoining restaurant. Good, clean room. Great breakfast. Dinner in restaurant was enjoyable. Helpful staff. Very happy.
very olde worlde but modern inside, had café and restraint. looks full of histort and 17century quaint chapel in back garden you can visit. lovely view of dunblaine cathedral
the cathedral clock chimed incessantly every quarter of an hour throughout the night and kept us awake , beds were comfy , just the noise problem. ideal if you are hard of hearing.
Excellent location and staff very customer focused and friendly. Lovely food served in the restaurant. I was there as a group of friends attending a wedding at the venue. It is a great venue for a wedding.
This B and B was in a lovely location which made me want to come back and explore Dunblane more. Our room was clean, though small. Our breakfast was very nice - coffee so, so. Absolutely loved the small cathedral directly across the street.
Poor coffee, small room. Unusual hallway, albeit with the understanding the building was renovated into a B and B.
The staff at the Old Churches were helpful and friendly, the room was stylishly decorated, clean and comfortable, and the restaurant provided excellent meals, that were not the usual pub fare or Haggis, neeps and tatties! They served light modern food, and the traditional Sunday roast ( beef, Yorkshire pudding, potatoes and vegetables) was terrific.
There was nothing not to like
The location was perfect, looking out on to the cathedral and very quiet. The breakfast was excellent and the staff couldn't have been more helpful I can't recommend this hotel highly enough, 12 out of 10! We can't wait to return!
It was perfect!
Our room and ensuite were spacious looking across to Cathedral. Booked as a B & B - now a hotel, but that did not matter. Staff very helpful. Dinner and breakfast in restaurant excellent.Right near High Street in Dunblane. Dunblane a good base to visit Stirling and more restful.
Wall heater outside our room was on and the staff could not turn it off. Made out room hotter, and the weather was warm and sunny. Would be great if it was cold.
Excellent location. Friendly helpful staff. Good food.
We loved the location and the hotel's informality. Great place for a short break and near a train station with trains to Sterling, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Perth. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms comfortable and clean. Pretty good restaurant too and cafe which is open all day. Would definitely recommend.
