Lovely building and location

Inhostipable staff (not all though)

The room and en-suite were spotless. We had a lovely breakfast. I like being private but also want assistance if need be and the hotel staff seemed to respect that and did check all was well and asked whether we needed anything. We had dinner in the Pescadou Restaurant which was lovely.

The view from the bedroom, friendly and helpful staff, the breakfast choice and the general location of the hotel.

The room was cold when I first went in, (which was fine after turning on the heating). This was mainly because the windows were not great and you could feel the air coming through them. You could also hear the noise from passers by and the pub. Decent double glazed windows should deal with some of these problems.

The Hotel was in the center of Padstow so location was excellent, all the hotel staff were excellent and very helpful.

The Bar was a little dated.

Perfect location on the quayside and fantastic breakfasts with views over the harbour.

Quite expensive for the size and standard of the room however this was probably due to the fantastic location and the room was fine.

Excellent location, great staff, superb breakfast and we had a double shower!!!

Central position of hotel

Our room was up several flights of stairs and with no lift it was extremley difficult to carry our luggage to the room. No help was offered by any member of staff to help us with our bags and if the guest/s were not as fit as ourselves they would have had a real problem with the position of this room which was the furthest away from reception.

Location

Poor drinks service after the bar closed for those who were residents.For example we had guests with us who were staying nearby but I was refused service to get them a drink- after we had all eaten in the hotel and spent hours drinking in the bar afterwards- yet staff themselves were sat in the bar drinking at a table.Suggest you look after your Guests first.

Location was just excellant, we loved the old feel and all the querkiness of the old building. The facilities were good including the breakfast which was both buffet and cooked!

the room needed repairs to lights and bathroom fittings
