The warm/friendly atmosphere. Food available all day. Helpful, friendly staff. Homely. It is not a hotel but an Inn and the difference is reflected in the star rating therefore the only negative I have to say is that it is quite shabby (but clean) however this is outweighed by all the positives. |

Very poor TV reception, so bad you could not watch TV in your room. But reception in the bar was good! When asking staff about this they said there was nothing they could do, as reception is bad in some rooms. They did not offer a room change. |

It was well placed as we needed to be near Hull university at the time and was able to leave the car parked there while we were hunting for accomodation for my son who attends the university. Just could'nt find red button to turn shower on! But never mind had a really nice bath! |

The convenience of the location. Good parking. Couldn't open the bedroom door from the inside - a little concerning from a health and safety point of view - would certainly slow down your exit in the case of a fire. |

The staff were absolutely fantastic. First class service. The room was quite grubby for the price but it was clean enough and good enough for the purposes of my stay. My TV only had 3 channels and they were fuzzy so that was really annoying. I did mention it but nothing was done. The worse thing about the stay was the noise from what sounded like some sort of generator which kept me awake until 2 am on the Thursday night and till 4 am on the Friday night. It was outside room 8. I really needed to get sleep and this was quite awful. All in all though the fact that the staff were so nice sort of made up for the room. |

The hotel was centrally situated. We were attending the caravan show which was only a couple of miles down the road. The staff were friendly the room was clean and comfortable. The bar meals were good value and served all day In all good value for the money. The only small complaint was not being able to get a drink after last orders were called. Usually when you are residents they will serve you and add the price to your bill. |

Friendly staff.Food is excellent value for money. Can not fault the service in the pub.Or the staff at all x We had the family room which was in need of a revamp. Tatty and not very clean but it did to get our heads down. Children have to vacate the pub by 7pm...but we were allowed a little longer because our little girl was well behaved!!! |

We found the staff friendly and helpful. The room was basic and slightly dated but clean and had necessary essentials such as wardrobe with coathangers, clean towels, dressing table and tv. Pleasant and quiet location but only a few moments away from shops etc. Drinks were very reasonably priced and breakfast was lovely. |

Staff were friendly and meals were value for money. On a bus route into the city but you can also get a taxi for about £5.00 into the city centre. A nice friendly pub atmosphere. Very homely. We chose it because we wanted to be near the University, which is directly over the road. We would stay again. Just our bedroom - needed painting to liven it up but it was clean and everything worked! |

The staff were extremely pleasant and conveyed within a couple of sentences that they were concerned for my families comfort. They were hospitality professionals. A shape contrast from some of my experiences in the last month in eastern europe. I recognise it as good value, not flash. I was looking for a comfortable bed and a late sleep in. |

Well located but there are better bed and breakfasts available within this area. The staff were very unpleasant and unhelpful. We were charged for a double and a twin when we asked for a single (which was cheaper than a twin) and a double. Room was dirty, tatty and unkept. There was also a punch hole in the back of the bathroom door. |
