Nice outlook from room. Good breakfast.
Spacious, clean & comfy room. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good food and well kept beer in restaurant next door. Plenty of secure parking.
Lighting in room a bit dull. Main light switch for bedside lights out of reach above bed. Bathroom mirror set too far back. TV on wall too small for room size.
Location and environment in the room and around the hotel along with pleasant staff .
Enjoyed our stay. Food good. Room exellent. good location for Coventry and surrounding area. Staff all very nice and friendly.
Convenient and quiet location Extremely clear and large rooms Lovely and helpful staff Lovely food downstairs Will def return
Rooms huge .. Stunning views .. Great breakfast
Nice rooms, restaurant good, nice location
Continual droning of a fan or something outside room 14 which resulted in broken sleep throughout the night
Everything was just perfect. Highly reccomend. We will be returning. Even if we dont stay over night the whole family will be coming too, for a meal for future celebrations.
We had to leave.
Location was great. Vibrant, Busy Hotel. Would stay again.
We liked the location, the scenery was lovely (especially the river). The room was very spacious and comfortable. The quality of food and service was consistently good even when they were very busy.
The mattress was as hard as concrete, the noise of foot traffic and people talking was a disturbance in the morning as the front door had a big gap underneath it and was close to the communal stairwell.
Everything was good. Great experience.
Overlooking the river Big room A bargin price by booking months in advance.
The setting is very attractive. All the staff were helpful and enthusiastic. We liked it so much that my husband has chosen the hotel to stay in for his next meeting in Coventry in September. The food was extremely interesting and enjoyable. Highly recommended.
There was a lack of toiletries in the bathroom. The soap dispensers were obviously meant for hair washing as well as body washing. Those little extras make all the difference. There also seems to be a problem booking directly through your home website.
Location area to sit over looking the river peaceful good size rooms restaurant onsite helpful staff
no fridge in room - this would have been handy our room was directly over the outdoor seating so if we had the windows open was noisy
Friendly , helpful staff, especially in the restaurant, where they found us a table straight away to eat, despite the fact that we had not booked and they appeared to be fully booked and very busy. We were returning to the hotel for the first time since our wedding reception, in 1988, and this may have helped.
Really enjoyed the peaceful and scenic location and felt the pub had character
We felt the food was slightly expensive and not freshly prepared (the salad was out of a bag) and the Cajun chicken was not spicy enough
Overall we found the service, food and cleanliness of a high standard for mid-range hotel. Staff were friendly and very helpful
Waiting staff for evening meals should be better trained on how to deliver and serve wine to guest tables
Friendly and helpful staff Good location Quiet, despite being not far from major roads Good sized room
Poor room lighting, particularly just inside the door - as it was difficult to see into the wardrobe. Lack of hairdryer
Good Location Decent Food Friendly helpful staff Nice bar and outside area Clean room
plastic cups in the bedroom no toiletries - not a deal breaker though Dinner can be busy so remember to book a table
Overhall experience and the tranquility of the area.
Lack of ventilation in the rooms during the warm period, drink prices was quite high. Not enough tea coffee and milk in rooms.
There was a constant humming noise that was continous throughout the night so my sleep interupted , leaving me tired out for the next day The noise was comming from the room next door
The location. The room was large and nicely furnished.
The food and drink were expensive and one of the breakfast staff was particularly unfriendly and started to clear away while guests were still eating breakfast. Problem with the plug in the bathroom was not rectified during the 3 days we were staying there despite the fact that it was reported soon after we arrived. This is an hotel which concentrates more on its drinking dining facilities for non residents rather than its guests.
Very good food with a wide variety of choice at reasonable prices
Apart from noisy water pipes, very peaceful.
Bar closed at 10:30pm on the Sunday night.
