The beer garden was lovely The breakfast was very expensive and not very nice, the hotel smelt of paint as they seemed to be painting everything dysentery brown. You could only have main and lamps on in room not either

The majority of the staff were very friendly, extremely helpful and polite. Being diabetic, I unexpectedly had a problem with my sugar levels at 10pm. The staff were superb and helpful and quickly fetched me a sandwich which restored my levels. The menu's and the actual food were imaginative and thankfully, different from a lot of places we have stayed at. Well done! Despite the excellent menus, why oh why couldn't all the food on the plate be as hot as it should have been? Waiting for dessert for over 30 mins was not impressive. Fortunately, it didn't spoil the rest of the stay.

Chosen because it was near to family living in Styvechale. Known to us for 60+ years. The only thing was that the shower was inside the bath and it is not very accessible for elderly folk getting in and out. Perhaps on a future refurbishment programme you should consider shower cubicles or some bathrooms with door entry to the baths. As regular travellers we prefer showers but I know some travellers like a bath.

We had a one night stay and cannot fault anything about the service we recieved. From the moment we stepped into reception we were treated so well the staff were friendly, polite and helpful. We ate in the bar and again the staff were very attentive. The food was delicious and some of the best we have eaten in a long time and a good range of wine to choose from. The room was ultra clean and so comfortable and spacious. The staff are a credit to the hotel and i would recommed people to stay there. Its also in such a beautiful setting we cant wait to stay there again.

The Old Mill Inn is a fantastic place to stay. The staff could not do enough for us and we would have no hesitation in booking again. We will, however, book directly with the hotel as we booked through you and when we arrived, reception had no record whatsoever regarding our booking. Luckily, they were able to fit us in but we can safely say that we will never use your site again.

It has a charm and reaaly beats the typical overnight in a travel lodge. Rooms are very spacious and decor is modern. It has a feelimng of being in 'Dingley Dell' and I would imagine a great place to escape to in summer but close to the biggger attractions.

The staff were very nice and helpful, the room very clean and comfortable. Quality definitely very good for the price and we enjoyed the stay. Too bad the restaurant closes at 10 pm and there is no room service, and the hotel was a bit further out than we expected.

Good rooms and a nice location I booked 2 rooms. One for myself and one for my daughter and her husband. The hotel mixed the category of rooms booked. On accassions the staff seemed a little disinterested, which is unusal for the hotel.

Dining and Bar area staff very courteous and friendly. Reception staff need to smile more often, they need to realise that they are the face of the establishment, first impressions last long after the customer has left the building.

Delightful welcome at check-in. Lovely room, comfortable bed and good quality linen. We had supper in the pub and they looked after us very well. I would certainly go back and use the Goodnight chain in other locations on the basis of our stay at the Old Mill Inn. Our bedroom radiator was on full and we could not turn off so room was too hot but a minor point which we wished we'd spoken about before going to bed as I'm sure they would have sorted it out.
