We were visiting friends in Coventry. It is a very comfortable base in which to stay. Not really. Maybe the room doors could be fitted with card keys as is the case in most modern hotels instead of big lumps of plastic connected to a latch key. Trivial matter though, but it would be a little improvement. |

The manager on duty was excellent. The room was reasonably priced and very clean. Food ok too. Breakfast was not included in the price and had we booked the hotel directly it would have along with a 2 course dinner. |

Food was excellant, nice dining area would stay again as probably visiting same next year continuous noise from pipes, water, showers not quite sure what it was.wasn't told that we needed to book a tble for Sat dinner so only just got one but next to kitchen doors.Rooms could have been a little more luxurious for a four star |

The room was very clean and warm, the reception staff were very polite and helpful. Each time we stay at the hotel there is something which slightly disappoints. This year the room had no hairdryer, and I would have thought that was one of the things which should have been on the checklist. |

Comfortable room, clean, good food. Being told at the bar that it was closed whilst 4 pints were being served to 2 gentlemen who seemed to be locals. As a resident I would have thought that the bar would be available to us after 11.30pm. |

Our bedroom was very comfortable and spacious with lovely furnishings. The restaurant and bar area was really nice and we could not fault the meals we had. The only downside was the fact that breakfast was not included in the price. Although the breakfast was good we thought £7.50 per person was a bit pricey for what we got. |

Convenient location reasoable price, made welcome. Would ask for a different room next time. We did not have the best room, window was very small. Although room was clean and well decorated, there was paint peeling from the bathroom ceiling from a large damp patch. |

Our room was very nice and the evening dinner was very good with very good service from all the friendly staff. Good service at breakfast also. Sitting out by the river with drinks in the evening was also very nice. Breakfast would be better with pots of tea/coffee for your tables not flasks a on buffet table also small jugs of milk for tea/coffee rather than taking from same jug of milk for the cereal etc. |
