Old Mill Hotel by Good Night Inns  

The room was lovely , the staff very welcoming food was very good enjoyed the stay was nice and relaxing

The only thing I would really say that I wasn't impressed with was the breakfast I had a sausage sandwich and I think the sausage has been microwaved but the coninentle part of the breakfast was again lovely

loved everything about the hotel, quiet location, staff in every department were amazingly helpful and friendly, went out of their way to give us the very best of service.. Lovely terrace next to river for dining (in good weather). Room was spacious and beds very large and comfortable.

The room: a "standard" but in the old mill building itself rather than the modern extension. Generously sized and with some character. The bar has a choice of three hand-pumped beers from various breweries as well as the ubiquitous lagers etc. Plenty of car parking.

Very friendly staff. Excellent food. Beautiful surroundings. Clean and comfortable rooms. Great price.

The quality and standard of room is excellent and is extremelt comfortable.

I work for the Vinci Group and my seconbg night stay was only £72 per night booked at our Corporate rate. However my first night was charged at £88 per night as I booked it myself on the internet - I dont believe I should have been charged a higher different rate for the first night. I should always achieve the same Corporate rate

Warm welcome and efficient check-in, despite our arrival rather late in the day.

Night time carriageway repairs on the nearby A46 did not make for a peaceful night - unfortunately our room was on the side of the building facing the A46. Checkout was slow, as there were initially no staff available, and we arrived late at our next venue.

Beautiful surroundings, the restaurant had lovely food suitable for us both as we are vegetarians. Very clean n lovely room

Enjoyed our stay at the Old Mill Inn. We just had a one night away and wanted to explore the area. Very friendly and helpful staff, enjoyed the bar meal, shame they run out of our preferred wine and beer so had to changed a couple of times.

Only slight negative for the night was the bathroom taps were exceptionally hard to turn off, washers need replacing to avoid water loss and constant dripping. Otherwise a very comfortable stay,

The food was yummy yummy yummy . location brilliant for relaxing. Room very clean and comfortable.

The toaster used in the morning didnt work properly either burnt it or didnt cook it you really need to invest in a proper pop up one or two. Also would have been nice if there was a spa there.

Room size was excellent & room was warm.

Virtually impossible to book a ground floor room on line. I am on crutches and there were a lot of stairs to our room (16) and as the stairs only have a handrail on one side it was difficult for me to negotiate the stairs.

price expensive for quality better value out there

We booked into the Old mill because we wanted to stay in an old place, We were greatly let down by the fact that the accommodation was in a new annexe, not in the old building at all. We felt this was misrepresentation, and it has taught us to always ring the hotel direct, to ascertain, what exactly the accommodation is

The reception staff (Sarah) super helpful, and the waiter in the bar also really great

we found that we where looked after very well and the staff very frendly

You could have lunch outside by the gentle stream that flowed by.

Very down to earth and superb building and surroundings. Meal was ok....service was absolutely excellent. Reasonably priced and plenty of seating both inside and out. Really enjoyed our stay.

The bed was really uncomfortable and the springs twanged every time one of us moved slightly. Really hard and lumpy mattress....shame as everything else was spot-on!

Didn't like the breakfasts bacon watery, croissants in a plastic bag, cheap butter and marmalade etc very stingy portions all mass produced. On the last day of our stay we went to a cafe in Coventry called Flames Grill superb breakfast. TV too small for the room.

Staff were friendly, room was lovely. Second time we've been to this hotel and we were impressed again.

Walls rather thin and could hear the couple next door. Rooms slightly too warm even with heating turned off. Kettle took a very long time to heat up

This was my fourth visit to The Old Mill in the last 7 months. I always stay here when visiting my son at Warwick University as it is so close by. The Old Mill is a little gem in the countryside. It is a very friendly, comfortable place where you are always made to feel welcome. The rooms and ensuite are large and I thoroughly enjoy staying here.

Usually I put nothing! However on my last visit the Full English Breakfast wasn't up to its usual excellent high standard. I did raise my concern on check out and was kindly refunded the breakfast charge.
