The dog was really cute and the room had a good view.
My bf got an electric shock from the room kettle. The bar didn't have the drink I wanted. We didnt get the room we paid for. We got treated badly. The back yard was filthy, the room roofs were filthy and looked damp. We didnt get the breakfast we ordered and got kicked out at 10 because the bartender forgot to tell us what time breakfast was and when we were to leave.
Nothing at all
Filthy bed sheets. No light in the bathroom. Mould on the walls. Mushrooms growing through the window sill. Absolutely disgusting would not keep my dog in it.
The one staff member I met when I booked in, whose name was Harshil, was pleasant and helpful. The building is an old inn by a canal, and attractive from the outside. It is 15 minutes by taxi to Heathrow, which is why I reserved there.
I was most worried by what I would do on the top floor (Room 8) if there was a fire. There seemed to be only one route down, by the very steep stairs. There were no instructions in the room as to what one should do in case of fire, and the drop down from the one window was much too far to jump. The door frame had been recently smashed, and the bolt of the lock was only held by wood, and easily broken into. I didn't feel entirely safe. In the morning at 8.30 there were no staff in sight, and I had to give my key to a next-door neighbour. There had been no warning of this, or instructions to leave the key in the room. If I had wanted to make a phone call to order a taxi in the morning, I couldn't have done so. Luckily I had booked one the previous evening. There was no food available and it was nearly half a mile to the nearest restaurant.
Easy to locate Internet worked
Weak Customer Service Poor room design room booked was not what I received No room felicities Unclean glasses Whole blinding locked i morning no area to return keys when leaving hotel short number of staff
Was above a friendly pub with a lovely dog. Sky sports and easy parking.
Tele was on the floor in the room and non functionable. Shared bathroom with 30 contractors. The kitchen shut early had to travel for food
I prefer sleep in my toilet than old oak tree Inn. Everything was poor. I regret my money.
Couldn't even stand up in the room and the very small flat screen was not on a wall but sat on a chair, a ridiculous effort for a hotel room and massively overpriced
There were no towels. Shoddy.
The place is disgusting and no one was around at breakfast, there were bare plaster repairs, the kettle was one the floor, I've been bitten by feas and the room was as cheap and rough as you could imagine !!
Arriving and finding that we had not been assigned the types of rooms and bathrooms guaranteed through booking.com. After several minutes of discussion between two staff, we were taken to rooms that met most of our expectations. This was the first such experience in seven nights of pre-booking thru booking.com. Unlike in the other places, this Inn had already charged our total room fees to one credit card, and was unable to divide costs among the three families in our party.
Had no blanket on bed and generally filthy
Food fantastic, especially for the price. Staff friendly & with a park & canal opposite, walks & vistas cannot be faulted. For £30-£40 p/n, this close to Heathrow, you will truly struggle to find better. Trust me, I know, I'd been working here a month b4 finding this place & haven't looked elsewhere since. However, I've always opted for en-suite so cannot give an opinion on shared facility rooms!
Rooms seem to require such a small amount of tlc that I guarantee it will have most women pulling their hair out in frustration because they could be so much more homely with such a small amount of effort!
There is nothing to like about this place. Dirty. Noisy and a rip off price.
The worst place to stay in a disgusting area. One bathroom for the whole place that looks like it is never cleaned. No toilet paper. Doors slam from 6am onwards.
The food was good
The room height I banged my head a few times
all was good, good food, cheap drinks, friendly staff, nice small guest house. thank you for good service
when i eventually got the room i booked it was spacious and had a nice view of the river right outside, also the location was very convenient to Heathrow airport.
I booked and payed for a suite, but when i got there they tried to put me in a very small single room and convince me that was what i had booked. it took me an hour of heated arguing with the guy working there and finally meeting the manager to get the room i had booked but by then the good had been taken out of the whole thing. also when i booked it advertised food and breakfast neither of which were available so i had to pay a taxi 10 pounds to get me to the nearest takeaway and back.
People there are so amazing !
Far away from stations
it s very far from town. need to take bus for 7 stop n walk about 3 minutes. there is no single signboard from bus stop to the place.
Bad service , old stinky rooms , It's the worst hotel I stayed in . I sent complain to booking.com about this hotel . Not safe , all water marks in the wall , they close the windows with tape . I never stayed in hotel this bad before.
