A very friendly and homely feel. The breakfast was lovely and it was a good sized, comfortable bed. The area is beautiful and had we stayed for longer I am sure there would have been some lovely day trips out.
Not much sound proofing between rooms.
Some difficulty finding the barn
The room was very clean and we both enjoyed a very good breakfast.
All of it was excellent
Needs to have a sign on the main road to show where it is so if you are coming back late as we did from a wedding you can find it.
Our hosts steve and lynne made us welcome as soon as we arrived. Our room was lovely. Beds were fabulously comfortable. Breakfast was delicious .
Comfortable bed Lovely bathroom
Being woken by the gardner shovelling gravel outside our bedroom window at 7.30am. No choice of how eggs cooked at breakfast.
Lovely people and a great quiet location.
Were charged £25 for a 4 mile journey
comfortably soft beds. good breakfast.
expensive. staff could have been friendlier. no offer of cuppa or advice on locality. falsely advertised power shower in ensuite.
Central location, close to attractions we wanted to visit
Better signage required.
Clean Great breakfast Large room, en suite Easy parking Near village Kayaking, hiking Views of hills
Garden was incredibly beautiful. People in Talgarth village were so friendly. Easy to get to by car. Very very clean rooms. Food was tasty
Building noise. Being asked to post a review by hosts. Shower in bathroom was really tiny, fan made noise for hours after light was on. Did not feel lounge was for use by guests but more of the hosts lounge. Door was closed all the time.
They were really welcoming even though we arrived really late. A great breakfast in the morning too with lovely sausages and bacon. The room was great and beds so comfortable. Shower room was really clean and shower lovely.
Nothing it was all good
Very friendly couple and son who made us feel welcome from the start. This was an overnight stay en route to collect our son and was a relaxing evening followed by a lovely breakfast. Would certainly stay here again due to its ideal location for us.
One of the best cooked breakfast I have had at a guest place.
Limited parking, but public car park next to guest house.
Lynn and Stephen made us feel very welcome, nothing was too much trouble. They didn't mind catering for my husband's dietary needs and the food was delicious. The bed was really comfortable, we were rejuvenated after our stay.
Friendly welcome , clean room
Bedroom door would not lock from inside. Bathroom door very difficult to lock, lack of headroom in bedroom. Shower failed for second shower. Talgarth a very sad place on a Sunday evening
Location was good for walks . Nice couple who run it .
When we arrived hallway was full of washing and clutter. Couldn't lock our room door , couldn't lock our bathroom door . Only earl grey tea in room had to ask for proper tea and milk . Would rather have a guest loung rather than use owners lounge .
Everything was very good, only wished we had booked to stay longer. we shall return as there is so much to see in that area.
Nothing to dislike.
Lovely location and very friendly staff
Lynn and Steve were very hospitable and welcoming. The B&B was all very clean and the breakfasts were excellent - beautifully cooked and plenty of choice. It is in a great location for access to the Brecon Beacons & the Black Mountains.
I do not think the bedroom could be described as "spacious" as the headroom was severely restricted. There was only 1 roof light, not the 2 as described. The bedroom latch did not hold the door shut or lock from the inside and the non ensuite bathroom door was warped so it was difficult to close.
Very friendly, lovely nights sleep. will stay again
Everything about the Old Radnor Barn was just right: the food, the comfort, the room and the location - it felt like home from home as the owners, Lynne and Steve the owners, were friendly and welcoming and genuine in their desire to offer the best that they could. The highest accolade we can offer, in my opinion, is that a return visit will be made in the near future.
Owners very obliging, breakfasts were excellent, lots to choose from and good fresh produce.
amazing breakfast, so nice to have several cooked options. Excellent chef. Very friendly and helpful son of the owners, he was running the B&B on his own while his parents were away. Delightful comfortable room.
