Bed was under the pitch of the roof and it was easy to bang your head getting in and out.
Location, old world feel
6pm check in only early 7.30 breakfast option which meant we had to go without
CLEAN QUIET FRIENDLY COMFORTABLE
CREAKY FLOOR BOARDS
The fact that they had a room available at the very last minute. The breakfast was very good, though not everyone may be prepared for eating it in the owners kitchen around a table with the other guests.
The room at the back (for 3) was slightly depressing with too much furniture (double and single bed and large sofa) in the available space. The TV is positioned on a wall so that it can only be viewed from the sofa. The toilet/shower area is too cramped.
warmth of hostess continental breakfast
cooked breakfast wasn't great toilet too small
Convenient for Creswell Crags and numerous other tourist attractions in the area
Low price. Good space in room. WiFi. Friendly welcome.
Room layout - partners not visible in beds. Main light switch outside the room. Poor access to bed with no surface.
Friendly hostess very informative of the surrounding areas etc well cleaned house all round
Wifi didn't work apart from downstairs, bed was like a brick mattress and toilet was on another floor!
- very good breakfast - friendly and helpful hosts
- limited eating options in Staveley itself; had to go to Chesterfield for decent restaurants
Nice big room good breakfast
A good location very quite a big room with a comfortable bed with ensuite very homely feel even having breakfast in the kitchen of the house as to be one of the family will definitely return if in Staveley again

Room v quiet Lovely breakfast Friendly owners Hassle free Well located in town
Bathroom a little tight
A friendly b&b unusual dining arrangement - large sharing table in the kitchen cooking area - but enjoyed the conversations. The landlady is a fund of historical local information. Food excellent.
The rain ha ha
The staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was very good and I found the guesthouse fairly quiet even when full, the whole place was spotlessly clean and tidy, shipshape and Bristol fashion in every way.
I had to share a wc in the hall with another room, but I was aware of this when I booked.
The building was beautiful outside and very clean inside. Friendly welcome and interest in the reason for staying (archery competition). Location very convenient. Food good and enjoyed conversation in the kitchen over breakfast. Interesting order system for breakfast worked well- ready spot on time. Bed very comfortable. Price good value. Free wifi.
Single room was a bit small. I couldn't work TV system but it wasn't a priority for me.
