Staff very friendly and helpful
Limited choice on food in Oakham as arrived late - 9.00pm following traffic accident on A1. Should have stopped off with hindsight
Location, kindness of staff to allow us to book in early
The car park was very secure and private, homely, clean and very welcoming
It was quite difficult to find, due to being just off a round-about and the sign was not very big and quite dark. Had to ask a postlady where it was.
Rooms were excellent. Great size, clean, nice bathroom. Hotel was a nice building, staff were excellent and location was very central.
Didn't particularly like the breakfast and it is a shame they didn't have an open bar or serve food in the evening.
Everything, I don't think that I could find any fault at all. Quiet, comfortable and caters for all!!
Everything you needed was on hand, comfortable bed, large clean rooms, constant hot water ,breakfast was hot and tasty...and only 5 minutes walk from lovely town, will certainly come again
Excellent location. Large spacious room, plenty of tea , coffee milk available in room.
No real vegetarian option for cooked breakfast beyond eggs. Room 14, bathroom extremely cold as it didn't have a radiator in it.
Staff, rooms and breakfast all excellent.
Dinner was a bit expensive but very good.
Great location, size of room and breakfast.
Only downside was the decor. Bathroon was lovely and had been updated but the rest of the hotel needed an update.
No nonsense check in . Room was pleasant with very clean bathroom. Facilities for making own drinks. Breakfast good with plenty of choice. Helpful staff.
Bed was very soft and no extra pillows provided.
Everything. Cooked breakfast was delicious.
This is being picky - the light bulbs could have been brighter and there was obviously a mattress cover that made me very hot and sweaty. The bed was great otherwise.
The hotel is very quiet and efficiently run. It is very conveniently located.
The rooms are looking a bit tired.
The shower, helpful staff, quiet room on ground floor.
Decor very dated and breakfast buffet not very inspiring.
Large rooms with lots of room to store things. Lovely bathroom.
Parking is a bit tight in the hotel courtyard.
Lovely comfortable stay in a clean spacious room
No negatives - happy with our one night stay
Good value and great breakfast!
Bed was uncomfortable.
The layout...the staff...the bedrooms..the peace and quiet...breakfast was excellent.
Excellent location near to the centre of town; Friendly staff; Large bedroom.
Hospitality. The receptionist very kindly made us a pot of tea to take in the lounge although this was not actually on offer.
No refreshments served in the lounge and pre-booking dinner despite arriving by 4.00 p.m. and there appeared to be very few people in hotel we had to eat elsewhere.
Clean, Generally a nice place to stay.
Nobody was ever around.
Everything - the room, the shower, the breakfast...
Very close to town next to the museum
Finding the car park
Arrived before checkin time but as our room was ready we could check in. Room was large with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was very nice. Ideal location parked the car up and everything was within walking distance
WiFi reception was a bit poor
