Olde Barn Hotel  

The staff were great and the room was comfortable. The location was very convenient.

There were a couple of small problems that in a newly refurbished hotel should not have been issues; it was as if the room were unfinished: - there was no mirror near a power point - difficult to do my hair - also there was no shaver point in the bathroom for my husband to use - the TV was tiny which beacuse the rom was so large it was impossible to watch whilst lying on the bed - there was a strange electrical point over the bed that was blanked off but still had a hole in the wall visible around it.

Good facilities, good staff, nice rooms. Excellent gym and pool. Good for travelling to nearby locations.

This hotel was a very comfortable hotel ,the staff where excelent ,nothing was too much trouble they where friendly and helpfull ,the spa facilitys are really good and the staf there are also very helpfull and friendly. The weekend that we where there the boilers had broken down but they soon had one working again with notices up explaining what the problem was in the spa ,but even that did not spoil the use of the facilitys.The bedrooms are very clean and comfortable with tv and tea and coffee making facilitys also a hairdryer for your convinience altogether we thoroughly enjoyed our visit and look forward to going again in the future ,

On arrival the confirmed booking via booking.com had not been received by the hotel!!! Despite this they were able to provide a room - showing good flexibility Staff were friendly and the accommodation in one of the new modern annexes was well appointed and comfortable. Food was good and reasonably priced.

Only downside was the price of bar drinks which were very expensive even by hotel standards.

the treatments, the spa area was very clean as was the room, the 4 poster bed and jacuzzi bath in the room made our stay brilliant. the room was warm, staff very friendly, food was good especially the breakfast, loved it didnt want to leave.

the only thing we didnt like was the mattress on the bed, was abit hard for us.

Some of the public spaces a bit dated. Fire alarm went of at around 6am luckily it stopped as we quickly tried to dress

The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was adequate for our needs. The furniture was a bit tired but functional. The gym facilities were excellent and not busy so a pleasure to use. The area was very quiet which was good for us, the hotel also was quiet although busy, we heard no noise.

The bed in room 604 was extremely uncomfortable..very hard and lumpy and did spoil our sleep..I think the hotel would benefit (from my point of view) a few extra spa and beauty treatments.

Very bright room, clean and quiet, good pool. Would use again.

We booked it because it was supposed to be close to Swinderby antique market. It turned out to be about 22 miles away. They room we had was basic at best. Long walk to room with strange elevator. Room was sort of like staying at church camp

Convenience for proximity to Grantham ,comfortable bed and good breakfast.

Thought carpet on stairs very threadbare time it should be renewed.

Hours of food service (not available between 14:30 to 18:30, but on request bar menu was kindly provided).
