Access to an area of London I knew well 40 years ago. . Their breakfast was quite good
There were mothballs absolutely everywhere in the room. The mirror was inaccessible and there were no hangers for clothes
I did the booking using my card for a certain price X but at the hotel they told me cash would be preferable as for card payment they charge +5%... which wasn't written anywhere on the website.
Homely bed and breakfast.
Bath hot water wasn't that hot.
nothing really. The bed was comfy that's about it
The twin room was basically a double the beds were that close. Literally pushed together My pal saw a cockroach in the shower. There was also a cockroach in his bed one morning The last day we found a HUGE bedbug in another bed. We took a picture. They didn't clean or change towels till we asked. The floor was filthy. They had no Hoover when we asked. The place was vile I kid you not.
bathroom dirty only have odd tv channels bit expensive for what you get
convenient for city.ok for the price.ok for someone who wants basic accommodation.
floor was bit dusty,
Low cost for single r
Location is in zone 2
I had bad bugs that eat me in all my body for all the time that I have been there!!i said it to the reception and they change my room!but nothing also in the other room was the same!!pay a little bit more and found another place where stay!!!
The hotel and room very dirty. The rooms are more than small. the breakfast poor. The shared bathroom is very dirty. The hotel's staff sleep on the corridor of the hotel (on the ground)
small ugly room up 5 flights of stairs If I remember correctly. no real quilt on my bed, I had a sort of throw that looked like a rug. working nights I left about 9pm but found it hard to leave as there were about 20 people sitting all down the stairs eating the dinner and drinking.
The bed was comfortable and it was in a good location and cheap for the location.
Didn't like the staff they were not very friendly and didn't tell us what time breakfast was at and it said on booking tea and coffee facilities and there was none had to ask them on the last night of our stay where we get breakfast then had to make our own
There is nothing one can like .How does bookimg.com allow itself to include sich hotels on its site this is outrageous
room was dirty with cockroaches crawling over beds.rooms were very small and shared dirty bathroom upstairs and busy.
Very friendly people. Highly recommended.
No sheets provided initially!
Nothing in that hotel to like.
This is the rubbish hotel.....I won't even go if it even cost me £1 a night. Please don't make any booking here. Absolute waste of money!!!:( :(
Vilest place I've ever stayed
There was an older gentleman on late shift day two into our stay that appeared to be friendly and had a little joke or two with us. Plus the bathroom cleaned daily
The two younger gents on our arrival were not very welcoming...and appeared annoyed that we asked for the two rooms we booked to be next to each other...heavy sighing from one of the younger men...but they did manage to keep us relatively close ...shared bathrooms ...not ideal ...the bathroom was cleaned every day ..(curtains need throwing out they were grose) Having said that ..rooms in serious need of a good scrub ...bed linen needs to be bleached very grey...lots to pick in the rooms so wont go there... They need a private area for handling complaints I was a bit embarrassed listening to the conversations while checking out ;(
Staff were pleasant Close to central London and good travel links
The bathroom wasnt cleaned well or often enough since so many shared it. Constant slamming of doors from early in the morning - a customer attitude not the staff.
BethnalGreen Station is close, just 10 minutes walking. In general, rooms are pretty clean.
My room was in front of a share bathroom (shared with 6 people) The bathroom's door was slammed coonstantly. I couldn't sleep. Don't choose the last floor. Breakfast very poor.
The location was good as there is a bus and an underground nearby.
The bathrooms were dirty. I didn't feel like going to the bathrooms as they were old and not kept clean. The place was not well furnished. There is no housekeeping as well. The staff was lazy and inefficient. The breakfast was all too cheap. Really disappointed at Bookings.com as the place looked alright in the pictures.
It was somewhere to sleep
The cleanliness of the shared bathroom, mould around the bath. General maintenance. Building junk in back yard. Mouldy bread.
I managed to sleep well surprisingly. Free WIFI, always appreciated. Good area, close to Bethnal green tube station.
The room and bathroom are not very clean and the breakfast turned into a bit of a farce (self-service). Could do much worse, but not a high-flyer either
The hotel looked clean, staff seemed friendly, wasn't too far from the tube station (10 mins walk), next to a decent chinese takeaway, bathroom was clean despite being shared! As a place to crash the room was adequate, however this changed when I woke up and checked out.
Woke up with a rash all over my arms, chest, face and hands (the only parts to touch the bedding). I only realised I had this once I had left the hotel so couldnt show the manager, had to go buy some antihistamines and it went away. I have never had an allergic reaction in my life so I am not prone to rashes. They charged a 5% fee for paying by debit card, there was a cash machine on the way but this charged also. If I would have known this I would have taken the money out beforehand at the train station. For the price I could have stayed somewhere else in London and caught the tube there in the evening. I chose this hotel because it was close to York Hall for TNA Wrestling, I really wish I had looked at alternatives.
