Comfortable hotel. Good restaurant and excellent breakfast. Very good value at £75 for dinner with some wine, bed and breakfast.Even better value if two people sharing a room. I would recommend this hotel for tourists in the Manchester regions. |

The price I checked in on the sat and used my halifax card to secure the room (was guaranteed no money would be taken until I checked out the next day) when i checked out the next day I used a Lloyds card to pay the full amount, however the full amount was taken from the lloyds card and a random amount from the halifax! |

Staff very friendly and helpful. Although bar was not open at the time we checked in, staff asked us if would like a bar snack before we headed out. Rooms clean Walls thin - could hear other guests up and down the corridor |

The bathroom! Really, it was lovely. We only stayed for the one night, just to wind down a little. The hotel is set in beatiful surroundings, but if you need some retail therapy Stockport centre is only a ten minute drive away. Will stay at the Old Rectory again. |

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay although we were only there for one night. Regarding the question on reviews on the website I have not answered this point as I had not looked at the reviews before I booked. Its a good point though and I will in future. |
