“ Absolutely everything. Warm welcome, lovely room for myself and two children, everything we needed for an overnight stay. Owner advised as to where to eat in the evening and was very hospitable. ”

A 25-minute drive from Alton Towers Theme Park, this award-winning B&B is situated in the historic market town of Uttoxeter. The surrounding countryside is ideal for walking and cycling, and there is free Wi-Fi and free parking on site. Staff very friendly and efficient. Gave good advice as to where to eat. Room clean and comfortable. Near to Uttoxeter Racecourse could walk there. Close to town centre and other amenities. Good value for money

only stayed for two nights,over weekend, local to Alton Towers which is why we booked it, nice room and really nice breacfast hotel has 5 star rating from council EH. there was nothing not to like.

Beds really comfortable. First hotel I have stayed in where you could actually get a decent TV reception. Very helpful and friendly staff. Excellent location and safe off road parking. Breakfast was wonderful. A little dated, but this should not put anyone off staying here.

Convenient for station, bus to Alton Towers, restaurants, town. Spacious room (double + 2 singles). Comfortable beds. The staff were really helpful both before our visit (advising on travel conditions in the rather unexpected snow) and during our visit. Quiet. Nothing

The location of this guest house could not be better, 2 minutes from the railway station and town centre. Breakfast was very nice and arrived really hot. Staff helpful. No ensuite in bedroom.

We loved the location just in walking distance of town centre. The owners polite and very friendly manner. Good hearty breakfast served quickly and hot. Friendlyness of other staff. We had a twin room but our matteresses were a little too soft as we both have back problems.

Suitable distance to amenities and racecourse. Nice Proprieter Supplied large tasty breakfast Requires great deal of modernisation and updating. Room allocated was outside of hotel in an outbuilding which was very small and claustrophobic. Bathroom extremely small especially shower cubicle. Demanded payment for accommodation almost as soon as we arrived in Reception.

liked the location next door to racecourse, Hotel was lovely and clean, breakfast nice and hot,couldnt ask for anything more, I will stay here again. Only had one little problem, we have stayed all over the country in hotels and guest houses, but never have to pay for our stay before we leave,and never asked if you have cleaned your room, we thought this was being a bit forward.

The location was ideally situated for our holiday destinations to Stoke/Derby and surrounding places of interest The car parking was spacious and secure The staff were very friendly and helpful (eg travel routes) and made you feel very welcomed Our room was comfortable and no shortage of cupboards and drawer space The breakfasts were excellent

Very friendly staff, ideally located for Alton Towers and near a decent retail park with pub/restuarant. Nice clean room and decent TV with built in DVD player which you don't often get at hotels. Very good breakfast as well.
