Et godt mellemklasses hotel, rent og pænt og super beliggenhed. Eneste minus er at værelserne er frygtelig varme, og vinduerne ikke kan åbnes. Tør ikke tænke på, hvordan det er i sommerferien. Loftvifte el. lign. bør installeres. |

Venligt og imødekommende personale,der ydede god service.Beliggenheden er god midt på hovedindkøbsgade og i gå afstand fra mange af Edinburgh's turistattraktioner. Værelsets møbler virkede godt brugte og kunne trænge til en udskiftning. |

Hotellet ligger meget centralt, og værelset var pænt og rent. Et godt hotel til en rimelig pris. Tætne vinduerne - det suser ind. |

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The facilities are adequate and the price cheap. Being very central there was a bit of noise in the small hours one night but it was not a huge problem. |

Staff friendly and helpful without ever being pushy.Breakfast service was excellent, set us up for the day. Quite an over powering smell from the smelly goods store on the ground floor, pleasant smells,- unpleasantly strong. Bathroom made to fit in an awkward shaped room, made it slightly uncomfortable to use. |

The location of this hotel is second to none. The breakfasts are superb and the staff could not be more helpful. The only thing we disliked about this hotel is the smell that invades the reception area coming from the lush shop beneath the hotel |

We liked the location - across the road from the Airport and Tour Bus stops, central for shops and art galleries. The room was comfortable and clean and the bathroom was a good size.Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. However, Dutch and German visitors would probably miss their cheese and cold meats! Lunch and bar meals were good value but only the festive menu was available on the evening we were there and we felt the food we were served (main course) did not reflect the somewhat high cost of the menu. |

Location is great. Public areas are warm. Staff were quite friendly and helpful. Christmas decorations in Reception are were attractive. Rooms are looking very tired. This was our third stay at the hotel and it is looking increasingly shabby. |

centrally located, easy to walk to the many attractions. No issues, other than being presented with a £20 charge for a double booking of a room, which after booking .com had confirmed that i would not be charged as it was a genuine error when booking. The Hotel then said that they were placing the charge as i had prevented them from selling the room. Eventually common sense prevailed and the charge was lifted. It was not a good start to what was an otherwise excellent break at a very good hotel. |

Central location. Good breakfast buffet.Nice room. The elevator was dreadfully slow , had to take the stairs on several occassions. Entrance doors very heavy and carpeting on stairs needs attention, someone is going to go flying one of these days.Not enough towels and no bath mats. |

I like the style of the hotel and the location. It has very good location for city tour. Lobby is in upstairs and I had to take my loggage to upstairs. No eleveator. |

Comfortable, good bed, water piping hot, secure, clean room, housekeeping very good, in city centre and near railway station, comfortable lounge with bar menu and good bar service Being a civil engineer the only criticism I have is the problem you have with the cold water supply to the sixth floor especially the toilet flush system which only flushes when the other rooms are not using the system. This can be conveniently fixed with a suitably designed pump system. This is an observation and not a comlaint. |

simple, quiet, business-like environment that enabled me to conduct my work in edinburgh effectively and at low cost room was a bit dark and cleaning services rather dominated corridors in the morning. |
