Very large comfortable room. good Wifi connection, very comfortable bed. Very clean. pleasant and cheerful staff.
Breakfast service was a little slow, with toast arriving some 5 minutes after I had finished breakfast. It would be better with a self service toaster.
Very welcoming friendly staff. Relaxing bar area. Good breakfast. Very comfortable bed in a large well fitted room that even had a balcony. Central location but because it is set back the hotel is very quiet.
Nothing to dislike. Shame we did not have time to use the pool and leisure facilities. Also did not east at the hotel although the process seem very good.
Staff cannot do enough for you; as a returning guest I always felt welcomed and looked after, but this was also my impression on my first visit.
Rooms are dated and TVs in many rooms are too small to watch easily from the bed.
The pool and gym were good, comfortable room. Very clean, and we look forward to our next stay. Thank you,
Space, outlook, pleasant staff
Room was not very warm
Cleanliness of hotel. Bar/service available until late. Parking area good.
Leaking bath/shower which flooded the bathroom. Abruptness of receptionist when the problem was reported.
Friendly staff at Christmas breakfast
Hair in bath and cracked washbasin. Packet of coffee that stayed on floor over 3 day duration of stay. Expected to be joined by family for breakfast on last morning. They had made reservation and one of staff knew about it Christmas morning but no record 2 mornings later so couldn't sit together. Another guest asked for hot chocolate but was told very abruptly it wasn't available. Later someone else asked for hot chocolate and it was served.
Receptionist very friendly Room spacious and comfortable
Restaurant Manager not so friendly, when asking for coffee,as not asked what drinks we wanted, other customers were asked straight away what they wanted, she came over as a bit abrupt and had to ask for toast and again slightly abrupt.
free wifi friendly staff
room was very basic bed was creaky expensive for what you get
The staff were very helpful and courteous, and the room we had was very comfortable with only a few minor issues regarding the top of the basin tap coming adrift and a noise which sounded like a valve of some sort being noticeable in the roof area somewhere.every few seconds. Good breakfast though.
Being put into a room above the disco area, which kept us awake until midnight. Plus a fire alarm that was set off by the disco band! Surely we would have been better housed at the other end of the hotel as we were not part of the party. However, we were given a discount on the room rate as compensation.
polite staff, food very good and the hotel very claen.
Hotel was quiet. Room very clean and beds were comfy. Only stayed one night but everything was good for what we needed. Did not have time to use the pool which was a shame.
wireless was always there, but never worked. I even couldn't send and get a single email.
The staff are very good and welcoming. The foodvis excellent particulary their traditional Sunday Cravery. The use of free wi-fi wherever you are on all of the floors is excellent. I like the fact that the room are spacious and with an small area like a mini sitting room to watch TV and the balcony in every room for fresh air. The air conditioning in every room is a good idea for you to take charge or dictate what the temp in your room should be. The bath and the shower(good power) is excellent, neat and freshened.
The TV could have been a liitle vit bigger and the furniture needs updating, though appreciate the old ones but are getting tired.
Rooms clean nice white bed lining staff very helpful food breakfast very good
Carpets stained in places
Helpful friendly staff, large airy room with a balcony, comfortable bed. All round good experience.
The staff were friendly welcoming and efficient. The hotel had good facilities and my stay away from home for work was made as comfortable as possible.
Room Tea & Coffee Sufficient chairs in room
Shower Bathroom light could not be turned off Receptionist could have been more welcoming on arrival
Staff friendly and helpful. Spacious room Hot, powerful shower Relaxing lounge/dining area Bar meals very good value-no need to go off site. Breakfast good
décor on dark side -would benefit from uplift , but then would be more expensive and not such good value. Biggest gripe for us was that health suite was closing when we arrived Saturday afternoon. Last entry 4.45pm !! After very long journey we were looking forward to relaxing swim. This was one of main reasons for choosing this hotel.
Gym and leisure facilities.
Food and service
Poor Wi-Fi in room
Leisure Facilities were excellent and the evening dinner was great value for money - service excellent
The location of the hotel is good. The room was spacious and clean with good facilities, but again a little tired. The staff were helpful and courteous. Breakfast was good.
The actual hotel is looking a bit tired. The bathroom needed some TLC... Shelf over sink dropping off, the bath panel was worn away at the bottom. The bed was very 'lumpy' and the pillows really hard, so not a great nights sleep.
Dated in need of modernisation
