Comfortable + elegant rooms, honesty bar with good range. Super breakfast
Not enough space to hang clothes and put down stuff in the wonderful wet room.
Amazing house, amazing room, fabulous staff. We stayed for the weekend and was offered a free upgrade to the suite (No1) wow! And double wow! Thanks for making a weekend even more special.
Sadly we had to go home!
The look and feel of the accommodation
the room was very hot and could not control the heating very well.
lovely welcome - staff brilliant - don't get that kind of service from the savoy in London Thankyou again
Room a little small
Absolutely stunning boutique hotel! My girlfriend and I stayed here for two nights in one of the excellent rooms. There is so much thought and attention to detail throughout this stylishly revamped building. Our room had a roll top bath along with his and hers rain fall showers and a Thomas Crapper style loo. The bed was huge with a pop up TV and the most comfortable bedding with a back drop of Vivienne Westwood print wallpaper. The staff were excellent and extremely helpful. If you are looking for somewhere special to relax for a couple of days, this place will be hard to beat.

Only one small thing - the shower room got a bit wet so crossing the floor to get to the toilet was awkward. We were told the bathroom was a wet room, which made more sense. We had to mop up the wet with the towels. This was room 3, but we did not have this problem in room 5. Beautiful rooms though, no complaints, just this small point.
Beautifully decorated, clean rooms with luxury facilities. Just the break we needed with super comfortable beds, soft bath robes, herbal toiletries and an outstanding breakfast.
Beautifully designed and very comfortable
The staff at the hotel were all friendly and helpful. The rooms were beautifully decorated and comfortable. There were lovely little touches like providing hot chocolate as part of the turn down service, hot water bottles in the room and complimentary taxi service to their sister hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I would stay there again.
There was no wardrobe in the bedroom and no shelf to put cosmetics on in the bathroom.
Outstanding service. Elegance and comfort in an exclusive atmosphere. We used to stay at the Montpellier Chapter but it has lost its personal touch. 38 The Park is a great find for our regular visits to Cheltenham.
Would have liked an armchair in the room and greater clarity about using AV system in the room.
Very central for race course and town.
Nothing negative to say very good and clean hotel.
Gorgeous hotel. Great room plus lounge area very spacious.
Fantastic staff and overall hotel...
Warm - need to have fans for still evenings for air.
Comfortable Bed Interesting Decor Friendly Staff Central Location Clean and Well Maintained
Upmarket classy boutique style guest house, very comfortable bed, stylish decor throughout.
Cost £150 for the night. Great value for money. Room was amazing. Bed was the best I've ever slept in. Proper milk instead of UHT rubbish. Real tea instead of tea bags and proper coffee machine. Our own dressing gowns too! Felt like we were staying in a more expensive room that most people would expect. Wonderful
Unique and high quality design of interiors. Everything from furnishings to technology is absolutely spot on. Feels like a lot of money has been spent but most importantly you can see every penny of it. Excellent cooked breakfast. Link up with 131 The Promenade and Crazy Eights. Courtesy taxi and dinner reservation all booked. Really laid back atmosphere and staff were very helpful. Although every room was booked it never felt busy in the hotel and mostly it felt like you had the whole place to yourself.
There is parking but it's limited but I just left car keys with the staff and they moved it around. They seem to have a system to accommodate pretty much everyone on the drive.
No38 the park is an amazing building inside and out. Every inch is well thought out and perfectly manicured. It's stylish and homely at the same time. The room facilities are amazing. The free standing bath was the best I've experienced and the same for the rainforest shower. The crapper toilet topped the experience! I wanted to go home and give my house a face lift! Loved every minute. A fantastic mini break away from the kids! Thank you!
relaxed atmosphere, huge emperor bed. his and his showers honesty bar. a lot of attention to detail everywhere. spotless
Loved attention to detail and quirky thoughts like bloody mary and paracetamol at breaky. Grand but cosy feel. 'At home' staff. A must stay. Only a walk through the park to the pump rooms
The duvet was so hot. Super comfy bed but so hot. I normally get cold but with one leg and arm under it was too much. Without it was too cold slept under my towel for last 3 hrs. Couldn't understand the heating system easily either. Does it cool?
A lovely inviting welcome from staff, showed us to our rooms following easy parking on site (a big unexpected plus in such a central location). Immediately struck by the level of creativity and class in interiors - beautiful decorated, outstandingly clean and a delightfully chilled ambience. Beautiful rooms, well presented and fully catering for all needs. Glorious array of toiletries for everyone - shower wash, body lotion, shampoo and conditioner, plus hand wash and hand cream of a high quality brand (available for purchase onsite too - had to resist but dropped enough hints to return again soon!) Informal lounge area with honesty bar fully stocked with all spirits, wines and champagne as well as soft drinks. Fantastic display of magazines and books in the relaxation area, and a beautiful outdoor garden in which to enjoy drinks with friends/family or for some alone time. This is certainly somewhere to return - and undoubtedly a place to bring friends, family - especially as the house only has 13 rooms and could cater for a large group taking it over as "their own" for a weekend. It appears that no expense has been spared - and taste is in abundance. I cant recommend this place highly enough. Having stayed in a great deal of hotels over the years - of various quality and culture - this hits the mark on so many levels. Whilst its very new and finding its feet - its clear this property and venture has been born from experience in the industry and will generate interest from professionals looking for luxury and style with service to boot.
Obviously some little luxuries come at a price but this surely avoids people taking advantage of such offerings i.e. in room drinks/snacks of exceptional quality... but this will intentionally keep standards of both service and guest very high!
With all the creature comforts imaginable.
That they didn't have our booking then tried to charge us for breakfast that was included
