A lovely inviting welcome from staff, showed us to our rooms following easy parking on site (a big unexpected plus in such a central location). Immediately struck by the level of creativity and class in interiors - beautiful decorated, outstandingly clean and a delightfully chilled ambience. Beautiful rooms, well presented and fully catering for all needs. Glorious array of toiletries for everyone - shower wash, body lotion, shampoo and conditioner, plus hand wash and hand cream of a high quality brand (available for purchase onsite too - had to resist but dropped enough hints to return again soon!) Informal lounge area with honesty bar fully stocked with all spirits, wines and champagne as well as soft drinks. Fantastic display of magazines and books in the relaxation area, and a beautiful outdoor garden in which to enjoy drinks with friends/family or for some alone time. This is certainly somewhere to return - and undoubtedly a place to bring friends, family - especially as the house only has 13 rooms and could cater for a large group taking it over as "their own" for a weekend. It appears that no expense has been spared - and taste is in abundance. I cant recommend this place highly enough. Having stayed in a great deal of hotels over the years - of various quality and culture - this hits the mark on so many levels. Whilst its very new and finding its feet - its clear this property and venture has been born from experience in the industry and will generate interest from professionals looking for luxury and style with service to boot.

Obviously some little luxuries come at a price but this surely avoids people taking advantage of such offerings i.e. in room drinks/snacks of exceptional quality... but this will intentionally keep standards of both service and guest very high!
