Although it is more expensive then a travel lodge you pay for what you get. Great experience when a very high premium feel whilst staying. Definitely would recommend
The location was good - close to the main city centre
Washing machine did not work Structure of the building is wooden frame - whole apartment shook every time a door down stairs was closed - construction site next door - very noisy
The property itself was well furnished but the arrogance of the staff and the unsafe neighbourhood makes you think twice.
The staffs behaviour was deplorable and the property was very unsafe. I'd strongly advise anyone from staying here. There are several better and reasonably priced options at central locations. At one point we had a drink guy continuously calling the flat at 2 in the morning on the intercom at the front of the building, asking to be let in. The security is abysmal. Also the staff was supposed to visit to have some forms signed. When he finally turned up it was late in the night and he was rude and terribly arrogant. All in all one of the worst experiences we've ever had!
I liked the design and comfort of the apartment
I think £130 for one night stay without parking nor breakfast included nor any complimentary supplies to be able to have a cup of tea or a cup of coffee it's too expensive. For that sort of money I could have stayed in a much more central location. I also found that there were clothes inside the drawers in the room so I felt like I was renting some student room while they were on holiday.
Still awaiting receipt for stay, no email to contact for receipt so awaiting responce from stay! Contacted number given when booking but still awaiting reply. Can the owner please send reciept immediately, thanks!
The quality Of decor, comfortable bed, nice towels, location was good
I didn't note that you had to Call 30 minutes before arrival and was told off my two people for this before I recieved the keys to the apartment. I was told there would be parking at another location, then 30 minutes later was told there wouldn't be parking. There was a spider in the bathroom, a long black hair that didn't belong to me, someone else's laundry was locked in the washing machine that was broken, and the mats were placed crookedly under the furniture which made it buckle and was quite unsafe.
Very friendly and helpful host. Very nice apartments.
The location of the house was very central Large, bright bedrooms, very modern bathrooms. Hans, the Duty Manager, was very obliging and helpful.
Extremely rude customer service person (on phone) - I was speechless! When we arrived at the apartments we had booked, no one was there to greet us and on calling the office was yelled at for not calling them prior to arrival because they were changing our accom to another location. Once that was sorted (along with a very expensive double cab fare!!), we were re-located to a very spacious house in Central Cambridge. The 500 year old house accommodated us all fairly comfortably (-though there were lots of stairs). The bed in my elderly mother's room was way to high off the ground and we needed to remove the mattress. The place wasn't very clean and hadn't been prepared for our arrival. There was insufficient crockery for our group.
nice and very clean apartment and also central, easy walk to shops and river punting. we also liked the kitchen facilities in our apartment. we will recommend to our friends
everything was positive and nice
Location The young man who met us to give us our keys he was so helpful
No microwave washing machine did not work which was the only reason we had booked an apartment rather than a hotel as we were flying out to usa . Told they would get it checked but could take 2 days to get technician. Owners responsibility to ensure all is in working order before he lets. All the buildings around were being demolished - no sleep in. Oven dirty - tray covered in crumbs
20 minute walk to the centre Well equipped, clean and comfortable. Heated towel rail and good shower. Good value secure parking.
Tricky to find in a car because the road was closed. Dishwasher had no instructions.
Location Size of apartment Great shower Big TV Washing machine Huge comfy bed Well appointed apartment
No on site parking
Spacious apartment and close to town.
No parking. Staff were not helpful with information about available parking in town. The check in process was slow and unprofessional.
Good design very contemporary.
If they change the blinder of the windows, I might consider to recommend it to other users. It's nice design room, but I was awake as soon as sun arise...
very clean and comfortable, great location to town and very quiet, friendly staff and easy check-in/out, great facilities.
We booked 2 apartments as we were travelling as 2 families . We discovered when we arrived that the 2 appts were in different buildings even though our email confirmation quoted same address . The owners and website need to clearer and more transparent about this . Checking in instructions were we had to phone the owner 1/2 hour before arrival. it was ok ish this way but goodness knows what would happen if all guests spread between various building located in Cambridge arrived at the same time . Both apartments were beautiful , modern , spotless and well equipped apart from no mirror (apart from bathroom, which you cannt take electrical equipment in) . Overall lovely stay and would return again
Checking in . Booking.com and owners need to be clearer about various buildings. No mirrors
Great location. We were allowed to check in early and store our bags after. The guy (Julian) could not have been more helpful - would highly recommend it.
No bottle opener! Few flies in the kitchen on arrival but otherwise it was spotless.
Walking distance to all the sights and shops. Out of the way enough not to be disturbed by the nightlife.
Apartments floors and sofa could have been cleaner .but overall great accommodation.
Large TV Smart and new furnishings to a high quality Large bed
Parking a little difficult-should be clearer on website that it's only available until checkout (not all day)..so we needed to find alternative parking in the day. Hair underneath bed sheets on mattress protector!
Over all I like the apartment, even though I didn't get the apartment I was confirmed with. Location is very good. Key collection was very easy. Kitchen facilities was below average.
Price is too expensive for such apartment.
The bed was comfy
Shambolic nightmare of epic proportion into one at 12.30 and the other would be ready shortly after and I could have the keys to both. With my We stayed at the Onety-One apartments in Cambridge, run by Nobleo, which, according to its website offers ‘a 5 star premium self-catering apartment business providing short daily or longer term rentals with much more than exceptional style’. That description alone makes me tempted to report them to the advertising standards authority. We paid nearly £500 for a two-bedroom apartment when my partner and I went to Cambridge for a wedding. I booked in January via booking.com and the entire amount was deducted on booking. At the same time I requested a parking space – booking.com advertises it as having private parking but if you read the (very) small print, you will note that this can just be requested, not guaranteed. I did this via booking.com. Two weeks before, I tried to contact the apartment to confirm check in time and parking. Five messages and a week later, they still hadn’t returned my call. Eventually, the week of the booking, I called booking.com and explained my difficulties They managed to get through and after booking.com informing them that I was trying to get through, so did I. I spoke to a surly man, who rudely informed me that parking could not be had, but I could pay £20 to park in a car park five minutes’ walk from the building. I agreed to this and as requested, emailed Nobleo and authorised them to charge the credit card I had given on booking. At the same time, when I asked to check in at 3pm sharp (given I had a wedding rehearsal at 4.30), I was told equally rudely that as ‘everyone’ wanted to check in at 3pm, I would probably have to wait as they had numerous buildings in Cambridge. This wasn’t good enough and I said so. Eventually, the ‘gentleman’ grudgingly agreed that if I called them at noon on Friday, they would tell me when I could check in and it would be before my wedding rehearsal.
being a walk away from the city centre and boating hire and reataurants
the bed could have been bigger and the kitchen didn't have a frying pan and a small pan and in this hot weather an electric fan.
Location, modern, easy to find, clean.
Paid Car parking is 5 minutes walk if unlucky to get a free spot outside the apartment. Better if bedrooms had blackout or even room darkening blinds. No hair dryer.
Great location and facilities.
No air conditioning and extremely hot in the studio apartment as it faces the sun all day. Fan should be provided at least.
