Friendly and helpful staff, free upgrade to loch-view room, good breakfast, great views from the room and gardens. Upgraded room was fine with clean, modern bathroom. Bedroom too cold - only one small radiator. Would have felt hotel was overpriced if I had been given a room beside the main road or above kitchen. |

The Hotel staff were excellent, very friendly and made us feel very welcome. The food was of very good quality. Hotel was a bit jaded and could do with upgrading. Wonderful views of the Loch from the dining room were obscured by foliage from the garden. |

We did not spend a great deal of time in the hotel because there is so much to see and do in that area and the hotel is well situated in a peaceful setting to use it as a base for sightseeing. The hotel was clean, comforable and very friendly which is exactly what we were looking for We ate in the bar on an evening and we felt the bar meals were over priced and not good food really, quite basic cooking which was a little frustrating as there was nowhere else to go unless you went by car. Breakfast was very good though which was included in the price |

Nearby Glencoe. and sites of historical interest in the Highlands. Good loch views at some points. Rooms were small, noisey with main road traffic, windows did not close, shabby furnishings, staff unhurried and uninterested, certainly overpriced for what it is. Have stayed in other Hotels there and much better facilities and atmosphere, and about same price or less as charged there. No lift for disabled. |

The Staff were very helpfull as well as being very good at all the jobs they did. I noited that all staff at times were able to do all the jobs required and one moment they were working in reception, then the bar or serving meals, then up changing a room. Their demeanour at all times was vey friendly and civil. |

The staff were very friendly and efficient and the food at breakfast was excellent The decor and furnishings in the most part were tired and dingy. There was a lingering smell of stale tobacco smoke in the central corridors,Our room ( No 4) was located at the front of the hotel near to a busy noisy road and above the kitchens where there was a constant noise from the refridgeration units |

The Cruachan combines its traditional Scottish character with modern comforts and an enviable location overlooking Loch Linnhe and the Morvern Hills beyond. |
