In one of the rooms we only had small hanging rails (no wardrobe), but the other room had brand new large wardrobe.
This is a 100% genuine review from two sets of couples (group of friends from Liverpool) both in the 36-38 age group and 70-77 age group who thoroughly enjoyed a truly brilliantly stay at this wonderful guest house. The reason it was amazing from start to finish was because of the host there, and his name is John. This gentleman, and now someone we will call a friend, looked after us, and every other guest at the guest house with the best customer service EVER. From calling us a taxi every time we required one, which came straight away every time (£3.20 into city centre every time too). John also took each individual order for our breakfasts to our personal choices e.g. scrambled or fried egg etc. The tea/coffee,hot chocolate machine is also totally free of charge and available upto 10pm each night (we wanted to take this top of the range machine home lol). The beds are top quality too, so comfy and you can have your room tidied every day free of charge if you want it done, if not, there is no problem either. John printed out a booking reference for us too, as we decided to catch a train to Balloch (£5 each way) to take a boat cruise on Loch Lomond (£10.50 each - check the brochure in your room) which we booked online from the guest house (highly recommended - as this is one of the most beautiful places in Scotland). I can go on and on and on about how brilliant and helpful, caring and great John is, but we already know, I definitely recommend that you choose Onslow guest house as your place to stay in Glasgow, then you can see for yourself. Brilliant John and the crew behind the scenes we THANK YOU and will see you on our next visit to Glasgow, which we were planning on our way home.
