Really first class position for this great hotel. Very good food, accommodation and staff.
Good location for university. Great hotel with all services. Lovely location on campus. Staff were very helpful.
Nothing of note.
A comfortable bed at reasonable price located close to Medical School.
Decor in room. Bed comfortable. Good location for parents/friends of students
Frustrated that I couldn't buy a simple coffee and a cake/pastry during the afternoon. Was just offered the bar menu with puddings - not what I wanted. Went to nearby Shell garage Costa concession and brought back a pastry to have with coffee in my room. At breakfast, was just waved vaguely in direction of area to sit. Staff didn't engage with guests. At Premier Inn, they always take you to a seat and show you where all the different parts of the buffet are - take note. In room, annoying to have only a tiny mirror on desk to do hair and make-up. Yes - large one in bathroom but no natural light. Also annoying to have to play hunt the in room drinks tray - and then to have to carry it and make room on the desk to plug in kettle. Bar menu expensive. Apart from all that - ok!
Fab location, right on the campus,
Very modern and Eco friendly
Somehow, my husband could not log into its WIFI although he has no problem logging into NOTTINGHAM UNI as guest. So it is a bit frustrating for him as he couldn't quite work at the hotel.
Wifi was fast and reliable, rooms well soundproofed, in room tea and coffee convenient and beds were respectably hard. For work on the main University campus this is really vastly better than the Nottingham or [shudder] Beeston alternatives.
Breakfast was so-so, though that's pretty typical for every Nottingham hotel I've ever been in. It's a pretty car-centric setup but that won't bother most of the local conference centre visitors.
Bed size marvellous, bed linen excellent quality, bathroom clean and modern, very good value for money.
Food poor service poor unfriendly front desk staff
The location was ideal for the University. It is a great, friendly modern hotel which offers fabulous value.
Nothing, it was brilliant!
I loved the the overall style of the room. Very large and relaxing. Bed was fantastic. Also loved the style of the bathrooms.
The only thing I could say was when you came down for breakfast the tables weren't cleared by staff and were only clearing plates rather than clear the tables one by one. But overall great experience
Spotless, friendly staff and top quality food. Not much else to say
Everything apart from the location (distance from town)
It was an open day on the weekend we stayed and we were not informed of this, until we struggled to get in and out of campus. Cost extra in taxis as the queue and traffic was awfull. Wouldn't have stayed if I was made aware that it was an open weekend. Very disappointed at this
Nice, new hotel, plenty of parking, breakfast good.
Lumpy duvet had to be changed. Not enough staff at breakfast, so a little too self service.
The room décor and furnishings are very stylish. Lovely setting with a view of trees from the room.
It was very busy when I arrived and the reception/bar area was noisy - not the place for a quiet relaxing drink.
continental breakfast. Friendly staff. Brilliant walks in the university grounds.
Have stayed many times. Did not like the single beds as they were not comfortable.
A well located hotel in a nice setting. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The room and hotel in general was clean and modern. It allows good access to both the town centre and the road networks.
A slight criticism is that the hotel is not particularly well sign posted and it would be helpful to have better signs in the complex showing the location of the main hotel entrance and where to park.
Modern clean hotel with comfortable rooms. Peaceful location on beautiful university campus.
Expensive bar food so drove into town for dinner instead
The location, the warm welcome. Rooms a little small, but larger than average bathroom. Very convenient if children are at Nottingham university.
Poor wi-fi connection
No clock in the room and no phone by the bed (for the wakeup call).
Staff were very attentive, rooms were of an excellent standard, all set in a beautiful location!
The staff were all very helpful, pleasant and well informed. The building and the atmosphere of the hotel are airy and welcoming. The rooms are very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. Its location in the University Park makes it a peaceful and delightful base within easy walking distance of Wollaton Hall.
Absolutely everything about this hotel is excellent and of 5 star standard. Excellent value too.
Breakfast was excellent. Ambience of hotel was very good.
Steam came out of the handle of the kettle in the room. There was not a socket for the hairdryer within convenient distance of a mirror - even the cupboard mirror was an awkward stretch.
