Very warm welcome given, facilities are extremely comfortable and the food was amazing.
The staff were very friendly and made you feel welcome!
Rooms did not have television, which is welcome when you are on business and have to work late in the evening !
Very friendly and welcoming staff. An excellent dinner. Very cozy bar with lots of great conversations. Rooms mid sized, very clean, and modern.
Stayed here during belladrum festival and it was such a treat-so quiet, comfy rooms, lovely lady on the desk and also serving breakfast. Would come back in the blink of an eye, we got engaged while we were staying here and it was a lovely place to spend our first day or two in our new status!
We loved every single minute of our memorable three nights stay. Special Thanks to Karen!
Eliza and John could not have made us more welcome. All the staff were excellent, and the food was lovely. Totally different and retains all the charm of a 1700 building. We loved it and will be back.
Everything was perfect for us.
fantastic 17c house and artefacts. Super garden and grounds Very warm and friendly welcome.
quite a long potholed drive to negotiate, so take it slowly!
like a large country house home from home - squashy sofas and chairs, pictures, books and so on in lounges. Bedrooms large and comfortable, bathrooms brill. We enjoyed the lovely grounds too. Had a friend with us for dinner who stays nearby and she was delighted we could recommend a place she hadn't visited.
Full of character with all the creaking and groaning to go with it. Food was excellent and enough. Good selection of bottled beers from around Scotland and the isles.
This is NOT a run of the mill chain hotel. It is more like going on a sporting weekend than an overnight stop. The staff cannot do enough for you and the food is quite superb. I enjoy visiting hotels with character and this just exudes it.
Friendly attentive staff Excellent food & service Relaxed surroundings Restful stay Comfortable bed made for great sleep
Staff Log fires four poster bed old world charm

Location and gardens Comfortable and quiet room The staff and owners were very attentive, nothing was too much trouble Poppy and Bella the two fab black Labradors The breakfast and meals I had there were made to order
After my office gave me confirmation of the booking I looked at other reviews, perhaps not the best way to travel. But fantastic nothing at all to worry about, owners on site and hands on staff could not be more helpful. Very clean, fantastic setting, wish I could stay longer, will return if working near.
Nothing, just enjoy the setting
Very friendly staff who were always very helpful and made one feel very much "at home". Brilliant breakfast and very good evening meal with great wine list. Four poster bed a welcome surprise. Delighted by our stay and hope to return.
Friendly staff, peaceful location, character building. Good breakfast.
Could do with a TV in the room, although the Wi Fi could compensate most of the time.
Beautiful peaceful place
Perfect location, very good personal service, great atmosphere, very good restaurant
Very friendly staff, lively chat in comfortable bar. Very comfortable room.
Staff and owners lovely and helpful, and dogs extremely welcome. Food and service was excellent. Peaceful surroundings and comfortable drawing room full of interesting books. Lovely old house with lots of character, wood burning fires, great gardens and walks. Easy to find!
