The staff very friendly. Had a problem with the toilets, phoned the reception to complain and I was immediately moved to another room. Had breakfast in the morning. W e were at a function the night before so there was about 20 of us in all staying in the hotel. My husband and I ordered a fry for breakfast. I had noticed our friends at the table besides us had finished their breakfast when we arrived and none of them had eaten the sausages. When we got our breakfast the sausages were sour on both our plates. What I cannot understand anyone serving food would not notice that no one were eating the sausages.

Liked the little bit of luxury in the country side of Nort Wales, main reason was the spa which is very convenient after a days work. The noisy main road forces you to keep your window closed.

A well run and extremely comfortable hotel.Hope to revisit. The room availability at 15.00hrs is a little difficult. We arrived for a wedding in St Asaph at 14.00 hrs and had to change in the Spa which is very hot and humid as you would expect. Aroom that had not been made up would have been more acceptable

Staff professional, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast very nice. Very expensive room for the standard we got- lack of coffee on hospitality tray, no coffee with room service breakfast as ordered.

The service and the food were exellent. The rooms are tired and shabby. I complained about a few things in the room like bulbs not working, and they were replaced immediatly

I felt that the hotel was over priced, especialy the evening meals, I also did not like the idea of paying £5 extra per person to have a meal or snack in your room. In my opinion, the hotel could be doing with being given an interiar paint job. We were very disappointed with this hotel.

The staff were really helpful, the food was delicious, the room was a good size and very clean. The bacon on the breakfast was too dry and just cracked into pieces which is a shame as the rest was lovely. The prices of the drinks were very expensive and didnt get any discount on room rate even though we were with a wedding party who all stayed too.

Setting aside the location which was ideal for my business visits, the general feel of the the hotel was relaxed and the room was a good size. A little bit creaky due to the timber and the room got a little warm so I had to open the windows which due to road traffic got a little noisy from 05.30, however not really an issue, as living in the South East it depends on your definition of traffic.

We stayed in the Indonesian Suite for 2 nights and it was a great room. The spa bath in the bedroom was lovely. There were a few conferences on in the hotel but they didn't interfere with our stay. Breakfast was very good, they catered for everyone. Dinner was also very good. We made use of the pool and sauna, all areas were very clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. Although the beauty treatments were a little expensive we had facials and massages which were fantastic. The front of the hotel could do with painting and be made to look a little more inviting. We had robes in our room but we could also have done with some slippers.
