atmosphere room wifi kindness of the staff
the breakfast menu does not include enough sweet food
Décor Location Friendly
Modern Bathroom Modern fixtures and decoration Big windows- lots of light Cosy environment for bar and breakfast Friendly staff Buzzing location but quiet Lovely private square Big breakfast with good selection
Was pretty expensive for what you get Lack of parking in the area Door was heavy but still hear everyone as they go down the corridor Lack of taxis during wedding season- not the hotel's fault but be warned!
Food was lovely, room was lovely
Shower- need to change to a power shower!
Good location. Excellent breakfast, despite being very busy didn't have to wait too long. Friendly staff. Good bar.
A bit expensive. No free parking. Limited evening menu. Pot pouri very over powering. Breakfast was manic, it was Sunday and we all seemed to appear at same time.
Central location to visit town/area. Breakfast excellent. Room comfortable although slightly small.
Drop off and parking a real pain being on busy main street through town.
Better than I expected for the rating. Clean. Modern look. Friendly and accommodating staff. Central location
Room was a bit hot and when opening the window was quite noisy (traffic)
We liked the hotel and location, the food was good and the decor very tasteful.
Woken up at midnight by noisy guests in reception, but was resolved after we rang down to find out what was going on,but not till 1am sadly.
The friendliness of the staff, excellent choice for breakfast and a very comfortable room.
Had to complain from my mobile that the bar was extremely noisy and the noise had woken me up. I had to use my mobile to call the hotel to ask them to ask the guests to be quiet as the phone in the room was not working. I was told to dial 9. I tried to explain to the lady that there was no ring tone at all. I am not complaining just merely letting you know. The noise stopped immediately for which I was very grateful.
Breakfast, Helpful staff Fab location Cotswold old fashioned decor
Duck down bedding
Comfortable bed and room, good roomy bathroom. Food quantities generous.
No on site parking, road outside only. Allocated room was at top of building along a circuitous route but not really a problem for one night. No lift.
Very welcoming hotel. Staff very good. Excellent room and breakfast.
Food was good. Bit expensive for what it was. Bed comfy staff were friendly
Could be cleaner, room switch dirty. I cleaned it. Too much rushing around when being served in the restaurant.
Room, Staff, Service, Convenient Location
Tiny bathroom with a shower that did not work
Good location and very friendly, hard working staff.
Rooms were hot because of the heat wave in UK, we had to keep the door open to let the breeze in, but windows would open only a few inches.
size of room good, plenty of space in room
noise from outside court yard. food poor. poor access to hotel and rooms with young child and luggage
Well positioned in charming Tetbury. The helpful staff gave us good information and an excellent breakfast.
Breakfast tables much too small..couldn't get the plates on for the nice cooked breakfast.
Friendly, helpful staff. Clean, tasteful hotel. Good evening meal. Excellent breakfast.
Wi-Fi range did not reach our room. No hotel car-park which would be a problem if easy access is important.
Hotel had character and a lovely courtyard garden. We asked for twin room, at first I thought it was a double, but a step up on the open plan beamed room was a single bed with ensuite bathroom (rm3) Clean comfortable, biscuits on arrival with tea making facilities was a nice touch. Breakfast was excellent and served well, pleasant staff. Excellent location centre of Tetbury.
No carpark! but if you park in the long stay car park left of the Market Square, from Hotel, short stay first, then down the hill it is locked up in the evening until 8am next morning. Not a problem for me but would of been for my husband. Looked at reviews before I booked. If management took on board (wouldn't you feel they want to achieve near 100%) the attention to detail of the comments made and provide fans in hot rooms, investigated the smell reception/stairs(which I think could be ALL the wood stacked against one long wall of sit room which isnt necessary and a sofa would be better placed there making more space.
The staff were very friendly and there was always a very good, friendly atmosphere.
Family room was in the loft up several staircases. This wasn't a huge problem for us BUT I suspect access for anyone with a younger child might be very difficult.
Bathroom toilet would not flush - had to move rooms. Unsafe step in bedroom. Breakfast service and portion sizes poor. Very hot - no form of air conditioning. Parking non existant - had to park 1/2 mile away.
Very friendly staff. Great bar and restaurant. The location is unbeatable for trips around the heart of Cotswold. Loved the English breakfast
Very nicely decorated boutique hotel on one of the main roads of Tetbury.
Couldn't escape the impression that management put their staff under too much pressure. Staff have to man the bar, serve breakfast, take orders for dinner and take care of check in and check out .... We didn't run into any problem, but it does not give a welcoming feeling. Dinner was poor; not very tasty, very small portions.
Location was good and parking was easy over weekend as quite big public park is free over weekend
News Paper was offered to the door but was not explained that it will cost additional £2.50. The room looked clean when we first walked in but was not totally cleaned as we found couple of used towel hanging on the bathroom door and used plaster on the floor.
Comfortable bed and good furnishings with lovely big mirrors in the room and bathroom. Quiet at night. Good breakfast but no fresh fruit apart from apples.
Long climb to our room which was at the furthest corner of the hotel, several sets of stairs and no lift. It is an old building and a bit quirky so it would be difficult to have a lift. Water from basin tap was a bit sluggish on occasion
