“The Ormand is a treasure. It is a small boutique hotel/each room individually decorated. Comfortable, clean. Restaurant is excellent. Pub is sweet. Outdoor courtyard is delightful. Owner and staff couldn't be nicer. Tetbury is a charming town with neat shops.”

This hotel is excellent in all respects. It represents real value for money without any sacrifices. The staff were all excellent, the food could not be faulted and the chef deserves real praise. There was an excellent selection of real ales, all too often missing in modern hotels. The room was very clean and comfortable. All round excellence. The only minor problem is that the hotel is without a car park. This can be fully understood as it is an old coaching inn with an arch too narrow for modern cars! This is most definitely not a complaint!

Friendly staff, cosy room, relaxing atmosphere. No on site parking, not suitable for the elderly or those that have difficulty with stairs. Rooms small with no wardrobes. Ok for a I night stay. The price included a 2 course dinner, but some items required a supplement. This should be made clear when booking.

Gorgeous room with a fabulous boutique feel. Stunning furniture and facilities and amazing bathroom. The member of staff I initially spoke to when booking in was rather curt.

The location was ideal for our purposes. The breakfast was good. staff helped us with an early check-in for which there was no extra charge. The bed was very small and uncomfortable.

Staff were very welcoming and helpful As a mature lady I only have one suggestion that a bath handle would have been useful We stayed in a superior deluxe double .

Angela and I were delighted with our stay at the Ormond. We were met by owner Ian who gave us a great céad míle fáilte (Irish for a hundred thousand welcomes). Each member of staff outdid one another in helpfulness and welcome. Particular attention was paid to all of our requests. The bar was lively every night; the restaurant and menu exellent. I couldn't recommend this gem of a hotel highly enough. It is on the main street of a quaint little town with free parking about 400 yards away. Not a problem. Keep up the good work, Ian. We will return! Austen & Angela

The closeness of the restaurant so we could have the baby monitors on while we had dinner. Free parking is a good 10 minute walk up a very steep hill. No childseats for the restaurant and at breakfast Food was a bit expensive Not really child friendly

Very much enjoyed our stay and lovely room with few steps up to single bed for our 3 year old. Great breakfast.Friendly staff. The only negative was an uncomfortable incredibly firm double bed! Our daughter's single bed was comfy though.

Bedroom slightly smaller than expected but well appointed - large bathroom. It was not made clear that the car park was half a mile away in a public car park. we knew there was no parking on site but not aware so far away.

The Staff were really friendly and attentive. The bedroom was beautifully decorated and furniture was lovely. Bed really comfy too. The food was an excellent standard and was really tasty. Very relaxing atmosphere and a great location. Would I go back or recommend? Yes I think I probably would. No parking Corridors a bit scruffy which kind of didnt fit with everything else which was lovely. Bar menu was quite expensive for what you got - Tiny goats cheese baguette and very small salad was £7.95

Comfortable and clean A bit concerned that the desk was unmanned which may allow access to the room key box just behind the counter especially at busy times in the bar/restaurant which did not allow immediate attention to the arriving visitor(or villain?)

The staff were excellent very attentive and friendly. The hotel was warm and friendly and comfortable. We will certainly consider coming back to your hotel again. The only comment would be it was a bit noisey on Christmas Eve, but that was to be expected.

We thought that one of the nicest aspects of the Hotel was the friendliness of the staff- open and welcoming without being obsequious - everyone acknowledged us. The room was quirky because it's a listed building but beautifully decorated and furnished. Good value for money with a full breakfast included in the price. Car parking which we had anticipated might be a problem in the event was easy with plenty of overnight parking available on the road or in a car park very close by. All in all an excellent experience. We have found a little jewel and we will be back! For our taste the bed was a tad hard but that's a question of taste.

We had a lovely stay at the Ormond. It was central to the town centre with an array of lovely interesting shops. The bars and restaurants in the town were fabulous but we decided to have dinner at The Ormond restaurant. It was top class food.. really delicious. I have already recommended the hotel to friends and would definitely go back again in the very near future. Great value for money too. Thank you very much Nothing.... but the bar was very crowded in the evening and seating scarce... but this showed how popular the venue was with young people and older!!
