The views and the room were great. I had a double with a view. On arrival I was greeted by a young lady who showed me my room and was very helpful and friendly.
The wifi was very weak and there was no additional fridge.
We adored the hotel pretty spot very comfortable views amazing will go again
Nothing we didn't like at all
Request room 4 fantastic x
Location, large room, large selection of drinks in room, comfortable, good food, great staff
Room on road was very noisy, busy road
We really enjoyed the fabulous hospitality that each one of the staff offered. There were no problems that they couldn't sort out. The breakfast with the sunrise over the Forth was memorable, even with a 4 year old!
friendly atmosphere, nice view on the bay bridge.
Staff were very friendly! Food was good, room was clean and bed was comfy. The views are gorgeous and it's situated perfectly for exploring Queensferry!
Room lovely very clean great location will def be back bar and restaurant on site was great
Rooms very close together our door was tried several times during night with drunken wedding guests arriving back so very noisy. Also check your bill I was overcharged and needed my booking printout to prove the rate
Everything except noise disturbed sleep.
Early morning traffic noise into street-facing room.
Price of drinks
Overall the stay, meals and bar area was good. Hotel was clean and staff were very attentive and friendly
One of the cooked breakfasts was cool, however was quickly remeded when brought to attention of the staff
Location, and great views over Forth railway bridge, Food was excellent and abience was great. Breakfast was bit average, but haggis was great! Was so good we have booked next year as a base for an Edinburgh festival break!
Lack of ventilation in room - visited early October and the room was very warm - NO aircon and tiny opening of windows, so maybe ok in the middle of a scottish winter but would be stifling in summer. Pillows were too hard. But these are things to improve, to make it even better.
The room, the service, the food and the location. Can't think of anything else off-hand. If I did miss something though, give it an excellent rating as I am sure that it is deserved.
The day we arrived the 50th anniversary of the Forth Road Bridge was being celebrated and that portion of the town was closed to vehicle traffic. That didn't help as we weren't sure of where we going in the first place. Someone should have notified us of the situation so that we could have made adjustments.
The atmosphere was great and the staff the most friendly and helpful - a real must stay! The views are to die for
The view was stunning Breakfast was really good
Was a bit noisy but we were in bed earlier than normal to be fair. The room was quite dusty which affected my girlfriends asthma. The shower was a bit narrow to get in to esp if you were a larger person. We had a whirring noise coming from bathroom all night. For me the the food was over priced and we didnt enjoy it my girlfriend had bruschetta which she said was soggy then fajitas and i tried a bit and the flavouring was far too much she ended up leaving it. I had chicken and b pudding terrine with oatcakes but it was too hard to put on them! Then i had ravioli and it was ok but was far too salty. We stayed for my birthday and i was a bit disappointed though the views are spectacular.
Breakfast was non existent, nightmare on three mornings. Appalled at the fact that an upmarket hotel could not improvise.
Lovely lovely place fantastic friendly staff. Meal in samphire was amazing fantastic stay we will definitely be back x
WIFI signal in the room was poor
This the place to stay in South Queensferry ,very pleasant staff ,fantastic views ,just a great place to stay
Service was the best we have had. Not pushy, but genuine friendly service and eager to please. They made an effort to give us a great room and some free bubbly to celebrate out anniversary...the little things make a big difference and that pleased us!
Beautiful! Wonderful view. Great breakfast.
Somewhat small though but well styled.
very helpful staff, comfort of rooms/ decor, quality of food. attention to detail - glass of prosecco complements of hotel for our anniversary.
although room very nicely decorated it was at front of hotel and as a result quite noisy. usual gripe about cost of wine in hotels these days!!!!!
Clean comfortable room with nice view of the water. Restaurant was good too.
No easy parking. Had a few block walk to bring bags to the hotel.
Fantastic views from the restaurant. Well designed bedroom and bathroom. Helpful staff.
We'd asked for a quiet room- and it would have been but for the ventilation pipes from the kitchen making a terrible noise. The room was boiling and opening the window wasn't an option- due to noise and security. Good quality/ quiet Air conditioning would have helped more than the fan that was brought to us.
Location, restaurant and views make fo a great blend of Edinburgh without the hassle of the city.
Finding the car park which once you know is easy so drop your bags and head to the car park behind the church.
