This the place to stay in South Queensferry ,very pleasant staff ,fantastic views ,just a great place to stay
Beautiful! Wonderful view. Great breakfast.
very helpful staff, comfort of rooms/ decor, quality of food. attention to detail - glass of prosecco complements of hotel for our anniversary.
although room very nicely decorated it was at front of hotel and as a result quite noisy. usual gripe about cost of wine in hotels these days!!!!!
Clean comfortable room with nice view of the water. Restaurant was good too.
No easy parking. Had a few block walk to bring bags to the hotel.
Fantastic views from the restaurant. Well designed bedroom and bathroom. Helpful staff.
We'd asked for a quiet room- and it would have been but for the ventilation pipes from the kitchen making a terrible noise. The room was boiling and opening the window wasn't an option- due to noise and security. Good quality/ quiet Air conditioning would have helped more than the fan that was brought to us.
Location, restaurant and views make fo a great blend of Edinburgh without the hassle of the city.
Finding the car park which once you know is easy so drop your bags and head to the car park behind the church.
Restaurant ambiance. Breakfast was served to the table which for me was good. Good to invest in a view toast racks though. Wifi was included in the room rate.
Noise levels when dining from a large group of lady diners would have out voiced a bus load of sports fans and the staff were fully acceptant of this. Dinner price was top $ however quality was average. The room was wide and narrow and the space between the end of the bed and the wall was a lot closer than I would chose. Not a room I would take again) Great that the windows would open fully with superb views but a pity the kitchen extract fans increased the noise level in the room with the windows open.
Everything! We were celebrating my husband's birthday and the staff pulled out all the stops to make it special. We dined in both hotel restaurants and the food and service were exceptional. This hotel deserves top rating.
excellent staff and food, great views, very nices rooms !
The bathroom, without a bath, was very stylist with a great shower. The view of South Queensferry was excellent and you were ideally placed to take the train into Edinburgh or to reach the airport.
The room was a tad small for two people. The bed was only suitable if your height was under 5ft 9ins, while coat hangers could only be reached if you stood on a chair. The window wouldn't open unless you moved the suitcase from the stand. The food unfortunately was not to our taste a lack of fresh fruit or salad, too many soggy chips.
Cleanliness of rooms and standard of fittings
Waiting a long time for food whilst it was busy. Very little parking nearby.
Excellent facilities with a great view of the Bridges.
The location, the view, the outside seating areas
Tiny room with no view from room, no air conditioning in room.
Views. Bathroom. Food especially the breakfast.
staff was exeptional. Restaurant was good, location was wonderful, and walkable. Room was really nice and comfy and the bathroom was a pleasant surprise. Coffee/tea/ cookies in room...wonderful stay.
parking could be a pain, but we lucked out and got a spot directly across the street. No elevator that I could see? Fine for us, but handicapped folks should inquire.
How stylish the room was.
Checking out, thankfully we did this before going to bed as we had an early flight from Edinburgh airport. There was no one around when we left.
Great hotel, location is hard to beat. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The rooms are very well appointed, modern and comfortable.
Size of room large & excellent - comfortable and airy in the very hot weather. Very clean & we presented. Will return to stay if in the area again. Thankyou
Everything! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was lovely. Liked the toiletries! The mini bar, although we didn't use it, was fantastic - well stocked and fairly reasonably priced. Will be back!
Nowhere to put toilet bag really. Quite difficult to open window as was very hot and the blind obstructs the window. Parking a bit difficult until you know where to go, could be on information? 0870 number!! Not happy about that!
EVERYTHING ABOUT THE STAY WAS BRILLIANT APART FROM ONE MINOR PROBLEM ....
JUST ONE MINOR PROBLEM WITH NOISE FROM THE BAR BELOW US AT 1.30AM !
Location, lovely views from room.
Room was far too warm
Beautiful location, we look forward to going back again
Found drinks to be overpriced
Really enjoyed location and could not fault the room. Comfortable, clean, superb view and lovely design.
The food in the restaurant was very overpriced and the presentation was poor. Really disappointed.
The location was wonderful looking over the water and bridges. The room was clean modern and quite luxurious.
Parking was difficult, and not having a lift makes it difficult to get luggage upstairs
The atmosphere, the view and the breakfast.
The steak was cold
