Very reasonable rate and the actual room and hotel facilities were generally good Location of carpark means cars get covered in bird mess. A carwash wouldn't shift it, I couldn't shift it and so I had to take it to a hand carwash - £15 in total. The pub food was awful, I'm not sure if the chef was on holiday? |

The hotel has character, the spa area and surrounding grounds are great, the staff friendly and it's convenient. This time my room overlooked a glass roof so no view but - more to the point - the music from the disco below that roof was intrusive in my room. |

The location, build quality and attention to detail were all very good. The room was spacious and the desk facility was very good. In most hotels there are not enough sockets for charging phones, laptop's, etc and although not perfect the hotel had more power outlets than most The internet connection lead appeared to be damaged and did not work with my laptop and I would have raised it with reception but I used my unlimited internet 3G card instead. However, the last time I stayed at the hotel the connection worked fine. |

The setting and the building 2 false fire alarms in the middle of the night. Bar food poor, and also a lot of rubbish outside the kitchens - not impressed. Breakfast was also poor - the continental bar had not been replenished so there was hardly any fruit or other choices of breads. |

Hotel very good. Most enjoyable stay. My car was vandalised in the hotel car park, despite CCTV. Windsceen smashed and bonnet damaged. Staff were not very helpful. The hotel has refused any form of responsibility or compensation. I shall be making a claim against the hotel. |

Very relaxing stay . Very nice meal in the Restaurant . Staff friendly and the general cleanliness was good . The hotel also has a pub ( housed in the old stables ) in the grounds which we visited twice. The first time we came away unserved because of the lack of staff in attendance and the large queue at the bar . On the second visit we had a drink and a meal but we thought that both were expensive . |

Liked the swimming pool - large for the size of the hotel and very clean. Meals were good, although kippers were dyed so I couldn't eat them (allergic to dye). Room facilities were good - nice TV and free high speed internet access - most helpful as I was on a business trip The same music was played at every meal time which got a bit wearing after eight meals! My room was a long way from reception and even further from the dining room. There was no offer of anyone to help carry my bags on arrival or departure |

Friendly atmosphere in lovely surroundings. Stroll around the grounds, swim in the pool and relax in the comfy sofas of the hotel - and yet only ten minutes drive to the town centre. |

The hotel's location was brilliant. It didn't take long to get into Peterborough centre and there was a nice friendly pub just minutes walk away. The grounds of the hotel were very secluded and there was also a good sized pool for relaxation. Overall, a very nice hotel. The interior was a little out-dated and would not be to everyone's taste. However, I felt this fitted the style of the hotel well and if it were too modern, then the hotel's charm would be lost. |
